I've never cared much about Game of the Year, since I feel that the panel of judges doesn't truly accurately represent what games are the best, but three out of the six nominees this year are games I played and enjoyed (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades II, and Hollow Knight Silksong.)
I do think it's nearly guaranteed that Expedition 33 wins, because it got the most nominations, is an RPG (a genre that tends to do well), and just is really high-quality.
As for which one I enjoyed the most? Idk, Expedition 33 had one of the best stories in a video game that I've ever experienced (excluding Undertale and Deltarune), but both of the other games (imo) had better gameplay. Still, I don't usually like turn-based RPG gameplay, and it's impressive that E33 had an example of it that I really liked.
Hades II, I don't know if it's the most fun, but it'll probably have the most playtime, owing to its being a roguelite. (I guess, while playing, say, Silksong, I'm having more fun at any given moment, but with Hades II, while I'm having less fun in the moment (still a lot of fun), I have more fun overall because there are way more hours of playtime to get out of it.
Maybe I'll post more about my love of video games here later.
