  1. At the end of book 4, he wouldn't ever go back to the Windrunners and he would spend a life in prison so no he could not be redeemable after in book 4
  2. Thanks for all the insight on the subject.
  3. Kaladin, for sure. His story is amazing to follow and I agree that it is better to be out in the skies than cramped in a room. (though I do it a lot while reading Sanderson)
  4. I'm not the most well-versed on this topic and it might have been mentioned in the book but what exactly is a Highstorm? It's obviously a storm with lightning thunder and strong winds but is it also like a tornado or a hurricane? I heard it has caused huge boulders to come out of the ground and has knocked down plateaus before. It also causes mass flooding on the shattered plains. And on that note, what is the Everstorm exactly as well? Is it like a hurricane or does it even rain in the everstorm? And some people in the book say the lighting is deliberate in the Everstorm. I know that they are the storms of Honor and Oduim but could someone please clarify it? I might have just missed the answer in the book but it would help if someone could give a detailed explanation on it.
  5. Hi, I am so glad I finally got an account on this. I have read a lot of Sanderson but my favorite books are by far the Stormlight archive. I am definitely excited to finally join in on all of the topics everyone is discussing.
  6. Thank you for clearing that up. It makes so much sense now.
  7. I understand that it could be familiarity but although Kaladin is "acting like a lighteyes" he still has never really accepted them. I think he has a connection to the spear because it is the weapon of a darkeyes solider regardless of rank and he still is a darkeyes. If he uses any other weapon, especially a sword, it would be like accepting being a lighteyes and being that he has always used the spear, he would hardly use other weapons and would be less proficient with them, and again the sword would be especially hard for him to use regularly.
  8. Night blood could definitely kill a Spren that's not in Shardblade form, Kaladin and Syl even did that to protect Elhokars son in WoR. but Night blood chipped an honorblade, much more powerful than a shardblade, so nightblood might even be able to kill a spren when in shardblade form. it would at least chip the shardblade and could possibly do permanent damage to the spren.
