    Suddenly a chill wind blew behind them. The Being approached them, not cautiously, but with a business like strut. "Hello." He said, his voice deep with a strange accent.

    The Being opened Elan's door, and exited into the Clinic, his chilling laugh still echoing in Elan's ears. Elan said nothing, did nothing, as the demon left. He hoped everyone would die before they found out what he had done... things... things would be better that way.

    A deep fear burned through Elan, deeper than anything else he had ever felt. The Being stood menacingly over him, slowly reaching out a stick-hand. Elan’s mouth refused to work, his limbs locked in place. “Fine!” He shouted finally, “TAKE IT!!! Take the clinic! I don’t care! Just please, PLEASE leave me alone! Stop chasing me! JUST LEAVE ME BE! KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” If the being had a mouth he would be smiling evilly. A deep, slow, terrifying laugh emitted from it, filling the room. At the same moment a deep, heart-wrenching guilt welled up inside Elan. He wrapped his arms around himself, feeling cold, horrible, and he cried, alone, as The Being stood over him laughing.

    Oooooooooooo Fancy I've never kept my hair consistent. I've gone from bald to long to man bun to buzz to mullet to normal in a like 3 year period.

    Elans eyes begin glowing black. He squeezes them shut, hugging himself tight as his room begins to shake. He shudders as something steps through a dark hole in reality. It's a... well, a stick figure. It's wreathed in oily black liquid, and it's proportions are stretched out, grotesque. It is completely, uniformly black, and it's form ripples and shakes. "Leave. Leave. PLEASE." Elan says, face contorted in pain. "I let you have it. Let you kill them. You promised. YOU MADE A PROMISE! You said you would leave, not come back... please... please leave..." Tears have started leaking down his face. You shouldn't have trusted me the first time. You know that. And now you will pay.

    Elan lays, shivering, on his bed. Cold... so cold... The air around him feels like it's ripping into his already weak form. He can feel something, pressing on his mind, something strong. Something coming. The thing coming. He buries his head under his pillows, digging into the blankets, trying to hide. No. Nothing will come. I don't exist. None of this is real. Nothing is coming. The sensation remains. Hide. Hide. Hide. Fear grips at his soul. Voices in his head jabber, some telling him he should do something, warn someone, but he doesn't. He can't. He doesn't exist. No, no existence. Elan isn't real. None of this is real. But it is. No. None of it is. Elan isn't huddling. Alone. In his bed in a hospital for insane people. Nothing is coming. There is no universe. Nothing. Nothing. NOTHING.

    Elan takes a deep, shaky breath. "Okay-" he gets out, leaving the sparkle room. Too many people. There are too many people. Too loud. Too many voices. Quiet. Quiet. QUIET. He is shaking uncontrollably, his mind flashing back to moments he had tried to bury, tried to forget. Burning. Pain. Guilt. His eyes go wide and he collapses onto the floor, reliving everything horrible he had ever tried to forget.

    "The dragons were trying to stop-" Elan chokes on his words, the true reality of what had happened suddenly crushing down on him. He huddled on the floor, shaking. "-me." He sobs, burying his head in his hands.

    "People died. Because of... well, me." Elan says. "I didn't try... not enough... I..."

    "Well... they were blown up by another guy. I mean, you were there. I guess it wasn't really me, but still. Kinda... uncomfortable to have my body killing people against my will."
