Yes. Usually the strongest and toughest. They often are gamemaker favorites and tend to ally with other careers to take out the weaklings.

There are 12 districts of Panem. Each district specializes in something. The Careers usually come from District 1 (Luxury), District 2 (Weaponry), District 4 (Fishing), and often times volunteer to go into the arena. The basic hunger games concept is two children from each district are chosen randomly from a bowl of names to be put into the hunger games each year, which makes the careers different. When a career volunteers it usually means they have been training their entire lives to win this game, because in the books there was lots of money and fame involved with winning the games. Does that make sense?

@Aeoryi the hunger games is: The nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts, ruled from the Capitol. As punishment for a failed revolt many years before, each district is forced to select two tributes, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18, to fight to the death in the annual Hunger Games until there is only one survivor. : along with a lot of the other things people said. As of right now we are not following the boys and girls rule. However, if we can we would like 24 characters to spice up the games.

Then I’ll give you an epic ending. I can see it now. “Forced into a deep labyrinth our brave hero wanders the endless halls fighting off monsters as he goes. Stuck in a dead end he comes to face a horrible beast, ten times the size as him. He fights hard, but it is too late. Impaled by the pointy claw of the beast, but as he goes down he slays the beast by cutting his throat.” you like?

You can always just kill if your character. I was worried about time dedications too, but in reality it’s not too difficult to handle from my experience. You can always just say your character dies.

A canon fires and Lucette was finally put out of her misery.

Lucette tries to push up out of the rubble but it’s too heavy for even her at this point. She coughs at the dust. Seating with unbearable pain.

Lucettes lower half is crushed by the debris. She spews out blood from her mouth. She coughs. "Please. . please just take me. . " Its clear in her eyes that she still thirsts for blood, but she is in horrible pain. Its like she is being eaten away bit by bit and feels all of it, but is unable to stop it or just die.

Lucette rolled on top of him, but stumbled across falling to the side. She lays on her stomach, struggling desperately to lean on her elbows and arms. Her flesh is nearly completely gone across her whole body, ripping away to just muscle and bone. The only major piece left is over her left eye, a small patch of skin left. She hangs her jaw open a bit, hissing with pain. Her muscles scraping across the rigged surface of the roof. "Please. . ."

Lucette in a burst of madness leaps upward, scaling the building with inhumane speed. The second she reaches the roof, she pulls straight forward sending her skidding roughly against the top of the building straight for Kaa. Her flesh tearing even more painfully at the scraping of the roof.
