    “A thing I use to protect myself. Stay away from it please, if you don’t know how to use it, it can be dangerous to you.”

    “Leave,” Aaron repeated.

    “Later. I’ll meet you at the cornucopia at noon.”

    “Quiet, or we’ll all die!” Aaron said in a harsh whisper.

    Should he grab the axe and take it away? He couldn’t let the chick get hurt. He slowly moved forward and nudged the axe away with his foot, then returned to his earlier position. Aaron doesn’t respond to Kaza, as he can’t see out of the nest. @TheRavenHasLanded

    Aaron stays away from the chicks, and yells down at the bird. “Don’t hurt her! She’s with me, she can be trusted!”

    The man pockets the money. Several more people approach, looking hopeful. “Can we also get those punching puppy gloves?”

    The man smashes his fist into Roy’s face.

    Edgar shrugged, then reached up to pull Gift off. It latched tightly around his head, making it impossible to pull off. Edgar let his hand drop. Gift knew better than he did, the glasses were needed for some reason. “Sorry, I can’t.”

    Edgar did as she asked, moving next to Roy, behind Jenny. Something felt wrong though, but he couldn’t place it.

    “Of course, we’d be happy too,” Edgar said. The request confused him though, all of the statues had afraid faces. Was that why she needed a reference, to do better?
