    Rolen makes an illusion of darkness around Kaa’s head, then attacks with both blades, one (a dagger), thrown, the other swinging at Kaa’s blinded head. Edit: the dagger is going towards the heart.

    For an insignificant moment the world goes black, then Kaa sees the inside of the hut. Rolen, lying in wait behind his illusion, swings a shardblade at Kaa’s stomach, a second blade forming in his other hand.

    Rolen steps out. “Hey, I’ve got this food here it doesn’t taste good but it’s better than nothing.”

    Novel leads him to a garnet hut, Kaa can see Rolen inside eating some disgusting-looking meat.

    Novel writes: “He says that Amyra might be too strong for him to defeat alone, and so might Sage and Bob. He says that after at least two of those three are dead then you two will go your separate ways, meeting again on the field of battle.”

    Rolen eats them and takes the extra back to his hut. He also breaths in a little Stormlight to heal from any diseases he might have gotten from the meat.

    He makes a small cooking fire and cooks them.

    Rolen, healed, rested, and hungry, goes to find something to hunt, attaching his illusion to the hut so no one can see it from far away. He takes a couple of gemstones and goes into the chasms.
