Rolen, able to see Bob, forms a shardshield and blocks the dart. Then, close enough to the perpendicularity, he draws Stormlight from there and makes several duplicates of himself and starts weaving between and through them.

*hugs* I’m not sure what to say that’ll help you, but keep going, and try not to focus too much on the past, you can’t change it. -
Rolen rolls, then jumps up and continues running.

Rolen spins, forming a shardshield with spikes and blocking the beast’s attack.

He is kicked away from it, falling near a chasm. He gasps in pain, breathing in Stormlight, but there isn’t enough to heal him all of the way. He continues running towards the perpendicularity.

The dagger flies true, piercing the creature’s eye. Rolen dashes past the beast’s legs, moving toward the perpendicularity.

Rolen stays inside of his glass enclosure, ready to throw a sharddagger into it’s eye when it breaks through.

Rolen followed, and, drawing on most of the hut’s Stormlight, made a dome of glass around the two of them, then summoned Novel as a shield and advanced on Kaa.
