She wrapped an arm around him, pulling him tight against her.

She ducked down and entered the shack, pulling him in after her.

She did as well and gave him a quick kiss. “Should we…get some more privacy?”

“It’s something I can stand to hear a lot,” she said with a smile.

“I think so too. I like being with you.”

She smiled back, a beautiful, genuine smile. “It’s also a place where we can be together,” she said, blushing.

She took him to a small shack, barely big enough to be considered shelter. “We should be able to stay here for a while if we can’t find work.”

“Here, come with me,” Helda said, suddenly energetic. “I might know a place.”

“I can agree with that, as long as you’re with me.”

“Ok, so where are we going? I doubt the innkeeper will let us borrow another room.” He looked pained and grabbed her hand, squeezing it gently.

“Ok. I wish there was something we could do to ease his suffering.
