  2. She screamed again, unable to do more. Tayen would…he would find her right? And protect her?
  3. Helda screamed mentally, the pain nearly overwhelming her. But still, she called for Tayen.
  4. She hesitated, then her body dropped to the floor as she entered Tayen’s. She followed Tayen through his mind, calling out for him.
  5. The man raised a hand and the men retreated. He allowed Helda to come to Tayen. Helda was crying, her tears falling quickly as she ran to him. She gingerly wiped his face, doing her best to clean his many wounds.
  6. Eventually, the beating stopped. It would normally have killed the subject.
  7. A man tied him down. Directly in front of Tayen was the man whose body Helda had stolen. He smiled as the men began to beat Tayen. Helda screamed in agony and tried to reach Tayen, but was restrained.
  8. She looked into his, her eyes filled with worry. Several men carrying various weapons stepped into the room.
  9. He was taken to a small chamber ringed with seats. He could see Helda sitting in one.
  10. A guard opened Tayen’s cell. “Time to go.”
  11. He was given food and water occasionally. - - - Helda asked the guardsmen if she could see Tayen but was turned away.
  12. They were unable to understand him. - - - Helda arrived and immediately searched for Tayen.
  13. He was thrown into a cell with no trial.
  14. The men took him away, back to the town from before. - - - Helda frantically ran to the same town.
  15. “You’re going to be punished for what you’ve done. You regret it now, I see,” said the man darkly.
  16. The man ignored him, continuing to drag him. The other man let go of Helda and rejoined his compatriot.
  17. She was about to transfer to his body when she was ripped from him by one of the men. The other man cuffed Tayen and dragged him off somewhere.
  18. “I think it’ll hurt more if I’m not with you.”
  19. “I can.”
  20. “Should I come with you?” ”Ma’am, this is your last warning before we separate you two with force.”
  21. “Neither do you.” “Let go of him ma’am, this isn’t about you.”
  22. I apologize to Hungry for my previous dropping them off a cliff and offer them the sandwich.
