These are really good Eddie! Umm, inspiration… you could do one about a weary person who doesn’t have the choice to stop moving. Not that they’ll die if they don’t continue, but they just don’t have the power to stop.

“They’re dead. All from natural causes though.”

“It doesn’t matter if it was your fault. And me…well you just saw some of what I was involved in. They gave me an option, join or watch my family die. I chose to join. Then I disobeyed an order once and they cursed me. Before that…well I was just a kid, I had two loving parents and we had more than enough to live on.”

She pulled him close to her again. “That’s awful that you had to go through that. All of it.”

“What was your life before I met you?”

“…Is there something we need to talk about?”

“Anything with you. Should we go check on Daniel and Rex? I hope they’re ok.”

“I wish I knew where that was,” she said with a laugh.

Helda broke the kiss finally, but not letting go of Tayen. She was grinning, eyes full of love for the man she was holding.

Helda melted at his touch, seeming to meld with his body.

She didn’t break the kiss. She never wanted to. It was perfect.

She looked up and kissed him tenderly.

She just grabbed him in a hug again. “I love you Tayen.”

She gave a great sob. “But It wasn’t there!”
