“I won’t hurt you ever again.” He closed his eyes tightly, the light and nose driving the pain in his head even further.

“And I can always be thankful.” She looked up into his to eyes.

You are so good at this Eddie! I don’t know what more I can say. The Civil War was absolutely brutal.

“I…I don’t know.” He rested his head on her shoulder as a pounding headache started.

Edgar slowly sat up, groaning from the pain again. He swayed slightly, his vision blurring, then wrapped an arm around Jenny.

He squeezed her hand gently.

Edgar coughed. “Chimera,” he said weakly.

Something further in the future, after Liz is captured, either another prison scene or something after?

He couldn’t move well, so he just smiled up at her, ignoring the pain for a moment. “I love you.”

Edgar wasn’t moving. Then, slowly, he drew in a rattling breath and groaned. “Ow.”

He kissed her back, pulling her as close as he could. The dream disappeared. Edgar’s felt pain. So much pain.

Ooh, I love it so much!!! It’s so amazing! Go write more Eddie, I need more of this!

“I’m doing my best to not make that a reality.”

“I don’t want to leave. There’s no way Elysium is better than this, better than being with you. But…if the worst happens, will you be ok?” He ran a hand through her hair, savoring this moment, knowing it might be one of their last together.

He stood there for a long moment, just holding her. Eventually, he spoke. ”What happens if I…don’t make it?”

He hugged her tightly back. “Stay here? With me?” ”I love you.”

“I’m glad it mostly worked. And am I ok…I don’t know. This is worse than I’ve ever been before.”

He ran over and hugged her, pulling her close, tears in his eyes. “I thought I might not see you again.”

“But I do. You’ve already helped me so much.”

His breathing had steadied, but he still wasn’t moving.

“Thank you.” She snuggled in a little closer to him.

“Stay here?”

“Ok.” She leaned back into him, sighing softly.

“Is it?”

She was…gone? No. No! He had just gotten her back, just fixed things…
