  1. MINOR SPOILERS just a quickish question, i just watched a vid on fabrials, and wanted to know how silver would effect rosharan fabrials if there was a silver cage?
  2. next to the search bar there is like a news paper u can click there to see recent
  3. First, welcome to the shard! It’s a great place to think of ideas and get side feedback it’s a great resource to have! What was your first Brando Sando book?
  4. First of all, woah I didn’t think it would get this technical and all of you are significantly smarter than me, and you bring up some great points, I didn’t even think about the shaking witch would be significant so it’s seeming a fair bit less useful, but I think it could still work out, while I was thinking like on a space ship it seems more plausible to have it in a defence system for a planet, the speed could get out of atmosphere which seems more useful. Thank you to all of you for the ideas and the fact checks! it could also be faster than a normal conventional gun, because it’s not firing them individually it’s just all at the same time so faster fire rate.
  5. in the real world, there are some genuine advantages, first more range and speed, and with harmonium, you could make it work even better, as well as having a higher muzzle velocity. so actually, yeah, they are better than normal guns by all means.
  6. An Allomantic railgun is very possible, using harmonium, having steel pointing out and iron pointing in, with aluminum on the sides to it angles right, I know it needs work but I really want it to work and I feel like it would. side note, does harmonium work, with just metallic arts or all invested arts?
  7. I hadn't thought of that but now that you point it out it also seems odd that the malwish would just give away new technology to a foreigner, so i think that you actually really are onto something. like the first time was an improvised device and the second was the real deal
  8. Cool. The main reason I did it this way is because I wanted to ease them into it and not just throw them into something like Mistborn because if you're not expecting it, it could be a bit wild. Maybe switch tress with Warbreaker, then I think that would work well.
  9. The emperor’s soul Tress of the emerald sea Elantris Mistborn 1 Eleventh metal Mistborn 2 Mistborn 3 White sand sixth of dusk Shadows for silence in the forests of hell ( Stormlight 1 Mistborn era2 1 Allomancer Jak Stormlight 2 Mistborn era2 2 Yumi and the Nightmare painter Stormlight 2.5 Stormlight 3 Mistborn era2 3 Stormlight 3.5 Stormlight 4 Secret history Mistborn era2 4 Stormlight 5 Sun lit man
  10. so i was playing some skyblock and found an NPC that looked a little familiar maybe we have a fan of the Cosmere? no real discussion just an observation
  11. I didn’t know that he was in a mistwraith I thought it was just some body they found and sense he is fairly invested he over wrote it enough to get the scars but that’s really cool. Does he have abilities like that of a kandra?(shape shifting and digesting body’s?)
  12. Thank you that’s actually really helpful. As a side Noelle does kelsiers spike grant him an ability? I thought it was iron or steel but now thinking I don’t think I needs to be cuz it was spiked into him so he was the thing that inhabited the spike
  13. I have read lost metal and am rereading the cosmere right now. So I may not have worded it well but what you are talking about is would they take the abilities with them, I meant to convey would a completely normal person gain the abilities of the body, which is somewhat dissimilar to a kandra taking a body because they are using their own body not the body of the skeleton they inhabit
  14. So I’m rereading mistborn(as one does) and it got me thinking about the time in between the two series, when Kelsier gets a new body. If I were to become a cognitive shadow could I staple my self into a mist or a body and get their abilities? Because Allomancy is genetic so I think one could get it with getting a mistborn body.
  15. I’m very sorry I didn’t realize that was a rule and I’ll keep this In mind for later
