  1. Eventuri has already spent several minutes thinking over his options in his head. He's gone over footage from previous games to try and find the solution. The answer to the question. There isn't an answer to the question. Or, rather, there's too many answers. So, he picks the best one, the answer that always suits him : He runs for the hills.
  2. Stormclan’s Folly still isn’t at any book stores near me and it’s getting very annoying.

People keep telling me about the lore drops in that book and I wanna read it real bad.

also if you have no idea what I’m talking about it’s a newish Warrior Cats book.

  3. Very sorry, but I kind of got way too excited when the book was available to me and read it all that night. my bad.
  4. NAME: Eventuri Elnatana GENDER: Male AGE (12-18): 18 SKILLS: Philosophy and morality (Though his personal philosophy is kind of odd...) BACKGROUND: He was working as a writer for some big company, publishing works that explained different types of philosophies, though every time he had to add addendums that listed which of them were 'Capitol approved.' WORST FEAR: To be proven a hypocrite in his philosophies or principles FAVORITE COLOR: White- Because it represents, to him, a blank sheet of paper waiting to be filled. OTHER: He was skilled enough at his poetic writing that he was hired at 16, meaning he's very much lacking education in any field except for his writing/morality. During the rebellion, when he'd have been (I think) 11, he and his family were imprisoned, due to his father taking care of refugees who had sought an escape from the fighting. Apparently, they had been criminals of war, and even being associated with them was enough to send him to prison. His parents died in the prison, fighting off guards while he and his sister managed to escape. He learned some basic survival skills during this time. If he hadn't, he'd already be dead.
  5. Mark left to warn the Steeles about the risk of an impending attack. Adris sends two Steeles out to buy metals for the rest of them, including brass for Mark. He didn't have enough to buy any meaningful amount of Stormlight. --- --- --- The Killer paced inside his prison. He always did. It was all that he did. Except for the few glorious moments on the Outside, taking control. Moments of pure glory. Moments of blood. He hadn't seen much combat over the years after the Hunger Games, hadn't been a part of any meaningful fighting. Until the Marksmen. Until he was unleashed again. The last time, he thought. For a final time, he tried charging at the walls of the ethereal, dark box he was held in. He plunged into the smoke, coming out the other wall. It was a futile attempt, one final check that he couldn't escape. He knew that he couldn't escape, because he was aware of the fact that he didn't really exist. He was a part of the Radiant, who held control most of the time. So, knowing that he only had one option left, he sat down. Thinking. Bloodshed wasn't the key to a true society, he knew. He knew that if he was unleashed, he would destroy that which many people had worked to build. But... the glory, the adrenaline of the fight... It consumed him. There was only one way to end his pain. Either he needed to somehow let the Radiant get better, remove him from his head, or... He needed to end him. Put him in a situation where he would have to cede control to the Killer. Where he could break the Radiants oaths and in the process, break him.
  6. Something on Canticle, if the game design was good, could be very fun. If there was an entire arena orbiting/ fake orbiting with the burning sun and stuff… idk. I just remember how fun threnodite was, so one of the more dystopian/apocalyptic worlds might be better
  7. I'm really sorry about this, but I'm not going to be active for a while. @Spark of Hope and @Lotus Blossom, I won't be able to continue Free States. I just don't have the time anymore, and...

There have been some... things... that happened in relation to a neighbour of mine, who had some kind of... heart crisis? Not exactly a heart attack, but something similar, I think.

It happened right in front of me.

I don't exactly know how to say this, because I'm typing on an internet forum, but...

    He didn't make it.

We, my family and theirs, were out biking in a park, and the ambulance wasn't able to get there in time.

This was almost a week ago now, though I still have the image stuck in my head of him toppling off of his bike to fall, unmoving onto the road.

    4. Through the Living Hope
  8. "I will." Mark said. " Have you noticed anybody... I don't know, lurking around? Seen anything strange lately? If you do, please tell me or Astra."
  9. "Yeah, I will." Mark nodded. "I'm going to write down the stuff that's on it first, though. I don't want to rely on the police- some of them might agree with the Marksmen. I know a decent amount of these officers were Peacekeepers before the Capitol fell."
  10. “Yes, some. I hadn’t thought of that. We have the locations of their encampments on a sheet of paper,”
  11. "Yes. They said that they would investigate, but they didn't seem to want any of my help, ignoring the fact that I know where the Marksmen have their hideouts..."
  12. "I- Uh-" Mark realized he hadn't quite figured out how to explain what was going on. "There are... Some people, who have been hunting us. I think I mentioned that a group was harassing the Steeles a while back, but, well, this group has gotten much, much more aggressive. They sent those people that... Those bodies that I'm sure somebody noticed, a little ways up the street." "They want us dead. All of the tributes and the Steeles, and by extension their families. They captured Marewill and I, but we managed to escape. Somehow. Then they tried to assassinate Marewill in the hospital, but Tinker and I were able to fend them off. They have multiple Invested, including a Smoker-Brute twinborn, and a Coinshot. They also have at least fifty members, though most of them seemed hesitant to actually fight us. I think the... The deaths of the first group of killers scared a lot of them, espescially when they heard that I... Fought them alone. Although, now, if they see that I'm out of Stormlight... I expect that another strike will come soon. They might take some time, after their repeated failures to replan, but planning doesn't take that long, compared to the time it'll take for Marewill to heal from her wounds." "Anyways, what I mean to say, really, is that... All of us are in danger. Astra and I both have Blades, which will scare off most people, but the Coinshot they had nearly killed me. He did end up hitting me, though its not too bad. I will be limping for a while, though. Tinker, is, obviously, with all of the metals, powerful enough that we don't need to worry too much about the Coinshot, but the problem is really just ambushes. Be careful, when you leave the house. I'd advise keeping at least one person awake during the night, if you can. I can come by and keep watch for a while each night, if you need it. The Steeles can also help, and they're used to staying up later than normal."
  13. "Rashi? Falr?" Mark calls when he reaches the top of the stairs.
  14. Mark thanks her, and then goes upstairs to talk to Rashi and [So sorry I cannot remember the other characters names' I think Meron is a person who exists but I'm not sure of the relation]
  15. "Lily, where are the others?" Mark asked. "We have some... Important matters to talk about."
  16. Mark arrived at Tinker's parent's house a little while later, with Tinker (Presumably) with him. He knocked on the door, this time going through anyways and not spending fifteen minutes waiting at an unlocked door. "Hello?"
  17. "Yeah. There are definitely too many of the Marksmen for us to fight."
  18. Mark nodded. " I haven't really explained to them what's going on. I probably should."
