The cheeseman

I had been a tech once, like them. I didn’t work some glamorous Imperial Fleet job, all I did was manage communications on Kovar Technologies ships. Comm switches and fuses were my jam. That was what I did for nearly seven standard years as the ships I worked on jumped from system to system across the Milky Way, some even venturing into the Magellanic Clouds to resupply colony worlds and research stations all the way out there, over a hundred thousand light-years from Earth.
