  Ah. Well, it had this really useful feature that was basically a stripped down, bigger UI on the now-playing screen that didn't time out so that you could navigate Spotify while driving.
  
  However, not all is lost, as I have found archived versions of Spotify. I'll be trying them out tomorrow.

  If I didn't have so much saved on Spotify, I'd consider switching to a different app. But over 140 playlists and 2500+ Liked Songs makes that rather unappealing.

  THEY TOOK CAR MODE OFF????? first the like button changed from a heart to a plus and now this?!?!?!?!?!?! spotify what is happening T~T

  Yeah I'm so mad. User experience has never been a priority for Spotify, unfortunately. I actually like the new functionality of the like button, it makes it easier to add songs to playlists. Although, it would be cooler if it changed from a heart to a plus when you liked a song.
