I love reading, writing, and listening to music. I also greatly enjoy political theory, philosophy, and history. Specifically the Middle Ages. My favorite color is rose gold and my favorite fictional character is Túrin Turambar.

  1. My day started out well, but just took it's first southerly turn.

I was actually able to be on time for my class today, which was great. It's a physics class I need to take to have credits and blah blah blah that's not the important part. The classwork was easy today and there's only about an hour of homework for the weekend. I got the audiobook of A Game of Thrones on Libby and finished the prologue and the first chapter on the drive home, and I'm actually really enjoying it so far. The world is interesting the characters are intriguing, and so far I think there have been a ton of hints at foreshadowing.

But I can't talk about this book with anyone. My mother would be furious if she found out I was reading GoT and she would also be mad if she knew some of the (kinda sus) stuff that happens in other books I've read recently.

So I got home about an hour ago, it was pretty okay. I put my work clothes in the wash, rearranged my bookshelf a little more, and actually got around to taking apart my airsoft gun to see why it's not bloody working.

Then I went upstairs to get a drink.

Aaaaaand of course, my youngest brother is throwing a tantrum because he can't play storming Roblox on his computer and because he's not currently allowed to use the phone he shares with my middle brother. So while he's screaming and complaining about that, my sister--who, mind you, is nineteen years old-- comes downstairs at NOON!! NOON!! SHE DIDN'T GET OUT OF BED UNTIL FORTY MINUTES BEFORE SHE HAS TO LEAVE FOR WORK!!

    *sigh*

Then she immediately got grumpy and sulky when our mother told her to make a dentist appointment for her braces.

Which made mom angry. She saw I was on my computer--probably reading an article, ider what I was doing--and shouted that if I was "playing a damn video game" I should turn it off. Then she handed me a list with some stuff I need to do, and among them was reading two books.

I have been looking for thirty goddamn minutes and I can't find either of them. So now, almost everyone is in a bad mood.

    How's your rusting day been?

Sometimes it sucks to have siblings, other times it's like in RotK when Eowyn says "I will kill you if you touch him." For me, at least, there's practically no in between.

And my day has gotten better, a little. People have calmed down, my sister got to work on time, (barely) and I'm about to start working on a bit of the homework from my class.

Also I get to host my writing group on Saturday evening and I'm thrilled because I finally get to introduce them to my favorite of the characters that I've written into my book so far, and because we only meet once a month, so we hardly get to discuss things in person. The only part about the group that's a con (not really, some might even see it as a pro, idk), is that all of the six other people are female.

Oh, and I have finally found country music I enjoy listening to.
