It should as all burning metals give off a pulsing. I would think this would be one way to cause shattering.
-
Hmmm I don't remember this being in the annotations. Maybe . . . burning aluminum makes the other metals allomatically inert and undetectable? But that's just a guess. I would think that aluminum would make the metals actually burn away and vanish because of how duralumin being used is described.
-
Swallow all the metals, immediately attempt to burn, induce vomiting?

I think he would have made things a bit better, repairing some of the damage he did the first time. I think he would have also have adjusted himself to be younger again, or immortal/ageless if that were possible.

And somehow Nightblood seems to take (my) Breath away ... by force.

Breed enough mistings together, down generations and you might get a Mistborn?

... ... bought. And I'd like to be in on the above if possible. If not, that's cool. Reading the short story now, skimmed table of contents. Worth the 15 dollars, easy. Thanks guys.

For those that have purchased and seen it . . . would you recommend it to someone who probably won't ever play the game? How long is the PDF, how much info? The description on the site implies it gives some more info on the Steel Ministry. If there's a lot of 'cool' info I'd be more then willing to fork out the 15 bucks considering that I can pay more than that going out and watching a movie.

Mistborn Adventure Game is Out + Contest!

BLAM! -
I'm pretty sure he does do this.

I don't think TLR was a misting prior . . .

Yeah that's right. Also something nitpicky is that he (Fisal) says Feruchemists don't feel age as much because of goldminds. But you have to store health (and feel like crap, worse as you get older I would think) in order to tap it later. And he taps the goldmind to make him look healthier and more youthful? Gah? Also it seems to be written like the goldmind would only temporarily heal Fisal's wound on his abdomen "He tapped his goldmind for health so he could overcome his wound, but it wouldn’t last long." I don't mean to gripe, I enjoyed the story but these items just stuck out to me

Also Survivorists seem to be cutters

I just assumed it was cause every metal seemed to have a pair. Pewter/Tin, Iron/Steel, Zinc/Brass etc.

I believe his original plan was a Mistborn serial killer? Would make sense to have such a swat team. I guess the breeding program worked out.

Sanderson Fan First or Jordan Fan First?
TheBobs replied to SirZelig's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I knew of Jordan first, then when Sanderson took over I bought/read his books. -
Maybe that's why Drabs tend to get sick more often? Because they're dealing with stronger bacteria. Maybe. But as far as the cosmere goes, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone has a Breath, or an equivalent. Just on Nalthis they can use it.

More info found in this thread In the MB2 Epigraphs Kwaan goes on about how everyone thinks he's nuts because the copperminds they are wearing back up the prophecies that are written down.

Right. In Warbreaker Breath gives people the life sense. I'm going with this. In real life, the being watched feeling is just paranoia. You get the idea that someone is looking at you, so you look around. Then another person glances at you because you just moved, and aha! They were looking at you the entire time!!1! I've stared at a lot of people before trying to see if this would work. It never does. Maybe I'm just a Drab. But I rarely get sick so maybe not.

Becoming charged over time would be against Ruin, wouldn't it? Also I think that the Lord Ruler created his spikes in the normal fashion, just by killing mistborn/mistings. 'Back in the day' Alendi may have had spikes that were made from the condemned(those that would have spikes used to execute them). Or maybe some minor quality from animals. Also, maybe Alendi wasn't that strong . . . but over time the Well would get louder and louder. Or the Well syncs up to the chosen one.
-
I also think the positive and negative charge analogy makes more sense. You're right, why would an inert metal stop soothing? It would seem that the allomancy wouldn't even 'see' it. But a negatively 'charged' metal . . . . Nice analogy. I briefly saw Age of Legends instead of Alloy of Law

This. Then because the illness can't take hold in the person the body doesn't have to fight off of the sickness. Which then the breath doesn't have to help the body get over the sickness. Kind of circular, but meh.
-
I assumed that a single breath becomes worn out over a lifetime of trying to keep a body healthy. If you have hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands . . . Which leads me to can a breath 'die' from being used up or worn out and the person still live? We know you can give it away and become a Drab, but could there be a very very old person who perhaps encountered a lot of sicknesses during their life and their breath die or fade? Or would there always be some sort of minimal strength left?
