  1. Casper closes his eyes and in a last ditch effort tenses suddenly, using his weight against Berin and just falling on top of him, trapping Berin beneath him.
  2. Casper finally seems to give up on holding back. He says "I didn't want to hurt you too badly, I'm sorry Berin." before maneuvering the machete to his side and jabbing it at Berin.
  3. Casper wrenches himself away with as much force as he can muster and (regardless of escape or not) uses his other hand to deck Berin in the gut.
  4. Casper is utterly floored by this feral response, he once again brings the hilt down in another attempt to knock Berin unconscious.
  5. Casper swipes his machete across at his legs instead of going straight for him, hoping to catch Berin off guard with the strange maneuver.
  6. Casper is quick to get up, he runs up close and swings at Berin's head with his machete's hilt, trying to regulate the strength from his aviar so he only knocks Berin out.
  7. Casper feels the strength once again, pushing harder and harder, he lifts his head up above the water just enough to see a bird attack Berin. Maybe he can live after all.
  8. Casper can't breathe. In a last ditch effort he hopes for a burst of strength and pushes up with all his might against his restraint. @Spark of Hope
  9. Casper falls onto his back. In his panic he gets an idea, a desperate, risky idea but it's all he has. He rolls himself into the water.
  10. Casper is whacked in the side as he tries to avoid the hit. He immediately begins running to the other person on the beach trying to get away while waving the machete wildly "Help! Please!"
  11. Casper is utterly shocked by this betrayal and his survival instincts kick in, trying to push the kayak off him. The aviar on Casper's shoulder, startled, gives a burst of strength, allowing casper to push the canoe upwards and knock Berin away from him. Casper slowly gets up, holding his machete threateningly.
  12. Casper begins looking all around "This isn't good. Too many other people. We should leave. Now."
  13. Casper is surprised by this random tribute's empathy, he assumed everyone else would be battle hardened brutes or something, he sighs "One death is too much already." "That's a good idea. Nighttime will be much worse." "We should. More allies is probably best, even if we can't trust each other fully."
  14. "Neither do I." Casper looks around paranoidly "Well, if we're gonna be together for a bit, what's your-" He's cut off by the cannon. "Oh, oh no. That was too soon."
  15. "Well... ok." Casper takes his side of the boat (the higher ground side) "Pick up that side and know that I'm watching you."
  16. "AH!!!" Casper starts and drops the kayak, quickly trying to collect himself while brandishing his machete "Who are you? Be warned, I have a machete." It's clear that combat is not his strong suit despite his appearance.
  17. Casper is attempting to pull a kayak along a small stream, his aviar on his shoulder. He cringes every time he makes too much noise and just hopes he doesn't attract anyone.
  18. Casper grabs the machete "Wow, this'll come in handy." He packs everything back up and pushes the kayak along the stream.
