    hot take: dress shops not selling dresses to people from the same school is the most stupid thing ever

    like first of all, why would you get mad at someone else wearing the same dress as you? like… omg twinning! looks like you both have great taste! but nooo people get so mad and entitled and like if you have a problem matching with someone else like i’m sorry but that’s a you problem and you should probably do some self reflection

    and then also like… it’s so bad for business????

    like oh… you’d like to pay us 300 dollars but we actually can’t let you do that because there was another girl from your school here soooo

    idk one of my friends (she’s rich) was talking about how it was so nice that nobody would get to wear the same dress as her and she’d be the ONLY one wearing it (there was this one time this other girl was wearing her same dress at like hoco or smth and she called her a b**ch) and i’m just like…

    prom is about everyone but ok…

    idk it just icked me so much

    it just creates so much animosity and so much competition between girls when like… we should all just be girl’s girls yk??? and all be nice to each other?? cuz that’s what humans (should) do????

    anyway :PP i havent shopped for a dress yet but i do have some ideas and i’m quite excited (prom is in april)

      (seriously tho, I don’t understand it. I like it when I accidentally twin with people, it’s like a little bond between you two, y’know)

      I have to submit 25 volunteer hours before I can think about prom, because of school policy. (25 hours per year, and can’t get tickets if incomplete)
