      Agree with cheeseman rendering sounds like something you’d do to a steak and for some reason I don’t think your drawing is steak

      rendering is the process where you build up your layers to “finish” your drawing. shadows, light sources, details, building up shapes, all that. basically anything past a sketch or a sketch and color blocking is rendering. :D
