have you guys seen that one disney short that's like that homeless girl and she like hallucinates going to her grandma's house and at the end she dies?

i'm working on my second kiesha draft rn, and i was describing those streetlamps that you have to light with a candle on a long stick, and that just popped into my head cuz i totally forgot about it

but inspo definitely came from that little short

isn't it so weird like how if you think about it, a lot of stories are just pieces of other stories put together with a few new, unique things? like kiesha's story is very les mis esque, with elements of that disney short i was talking about, plus her own thing with zack and her family

but the vibes were pulled from songs i like and album covers and things

it's crazy that you can just look at something and be like "that tells a story, doesn't it" and you just like tuck it away for later and idk it's just rlly cool
