  1. This is probably a very, erm, controversial opinion. And I don’t mean to be rude, either.

    Spoiler

But I started watching Ahsoka today, I’m a few episodes in, and the acting is… um… subpar. The costumes could also be better. That’s all. Thank you for listening to Controversial Opinion of the Day #1.

I watched the first two or so episodes and thought it was meh. Maybe I just need to try Rebels again and then come into it. Then again, I watched the first like five or six episodes of that and didn't like it. I may just hold out for more Andor and stuff like that, otherwise I may just stick to the primary six movies.

Okay so hear me out. I thought rebels was a little meh at first and also that Ezra or ‘knockoff Aladdin’ as I called him and Kanan were annoying but it gets EXPONENTIALLY better as you go along s3&4 are the best and I actually cried when

s4 Rebels spoiler but also if you’ve watched Ahsoka you’d know it anyway soo it’s not too big of a deal

      Spoiler

Kanan, who I previously thought was bland and boring died. Through s3&4 I learned to like him slowly, as I would a person, ‘twas quite genius writing.

Also, Kajsa, I can agree that for a bit some of the acting lacked that — excuse my French, but for lack of a better term — Je ne sais pas. However, Lars Mikklesen as Grand Admiral Thrawn is SUPERB and some of the best acting I’ve seen in a looooong time.

wow that ended up way longer than I intended, read or don’t, I have many thoughts :P

I just met Thrawn. It’s getting a lot better and he does such a good job seeming so detached and intimidating and evil

Thrawn is probably my favorite part of Ahsoka. That acting was incredible!
