I fell in love with something that was never real, so when it ceased to exist, I shattered.

And I’ve memorized the way our hands fit together, his sturdy frame

Memorized his arms around my waist, our arms linked together, my hand on his shoulder.

Brown eyes, that look in his beautiful brown eyes–the look that wasn’t

Real. He had to imagine that I was her.

Our love was fake, but I suppose that Malice will live on

Kind of like a forbidden romance novel, one in which I’m afraid to turn the page, because

Every page leads to a new chapter, a new chance for the book to end, but this 

New chapter scares me. 

And everything reminds me of him. I love everything about him, the

New, fresh scent of his cologne, the shape of his firm shoulders in a

Dark blue suit with a bright yellow tie. 

Should I forget about these feelings, the tugging on my heartstrings

Could I forget and just remember 

And leave it all behind? Probably not. And besides, I want to 

Remember. I want to remember that look in his

Eyes, get lost in that angelic smile. Remember the time that he promised he wouldn’t
