    Eddie nodded. She was staring off into the distance, seeming lost in her own mind, but she blinked and looked back at him. “You’re welcome. It…it isn’t all bad. I think as long as we can keep believing that, it’ll keep being true. Otherwise the darkness will overcome you, y’know? I…have a hunch that’s what happened to me. It feels right.” She shrugged and stood up, spinning one of her pistols. “But I don’t like thinking on an empty stomach. What do you say we find something to eat?”
