  1. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue sets the weave on the wolves and orders them to back off. @UnfortunatelyNamed
  2. Rayvyn nodded to herself, glad that he was done crying for the moment. "I'm going to get myself a room, but I'll come back before I go to bed. Rayvyn leaves the doorway, walking up to Fadran, completely ignoring the newcomer. "Can I have a key? I'll be staying here for the foreseeable future."
  3. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "Tell me about it," Rue mutters. "You hold them off, if you can. I'm going to try Compulsion." She starts weaving rapidly. @UnfortunatelyNamed
  4. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway That's not good. "Why does your fire work?" Rue shouts at Nameless. "They just walked through mine!" She weaves a gateway directly underneath herself and comes out next to Nameless. @UnfortunatelyNamed
  5. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue shrugged. "I know balefire too. We learned lots of things during the Last Battle that wouldn't have been allowed normally. Are you sure you don't want me to kill them?" She starts to weave fire, raising a wall between her and the wolves. Light, this won't work for long. @UnfortunatelyNamed
  6. Rayvyn (standing in the doorway so that she can see him but not miss everything else) raised an eyebrow. "That's not exactly what...nevermind. Is that where you were before you came here?" She asks, hoping for at least a nod.
  7. "I think we all have a variety of reasons. Better question, do we have a shared purpose for being here?"
  8. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue cursed. "They're dogs, aren't they. Of course there are dogs here." A thought occurs to her. "Would Compulsion work on them?" @UnfortunatelyNamed
  9. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue sighed, changing the weaves of fire to weaves of air. She started hitting at muzzles, poking the undersides of paws. "What, it's my fault they don't like me? How did you set such useless wards anyway?!" @UnfortunatelyNamed @InfinteInsanity
  10. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway “You absolute idiot,” Rue breathes, seizing saidar. “You didn’t try to mask your scent or anything?! I’m sorry Insa, but this is his fault! Storming men.” She readies weaves of fire, preparing to attack. Their fur should burn easily enough. @InfiniteInsanity @UnfortunatelyNamed
  11. Rayvyn eyes the newcomer. “So he’s the reason we’re all here. Good thing he showed up before anyone killed anyone else.” Good thing for some of them. Killing was, after all, her job.
  12. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue glares at Nameless, exasperated. “I thought you said you didn’t bring it back!” @UnfortunatelyNamed @InfiniteInsanity
  13. Rayvyn slips quietly away from the boy who won't talk. Honestly. How am I supposed to spy on people who won't talk, or talk to thin air? In search of someone who will, she sees a girl with a strange monkey-thing on her shoulder. "Hello," she says quietly. @Shadowed
  14. "Some of you get surprisingly sentimental about your little pets. Perhaps the novelty of having something treat you with attention gets in the way of what little common sense you have." She smiles coyly. @UnfortunatelyNamed
  15. "You can't talk, but you can hear, and at least somewhat understand what we're saying. Can you draw your story?"
  16. Rayvyn purses her lips. "Is there something we need to understand? About the dragon scale? There's a dragon outside, and people who seemed friendly with it, should we get one of them?"
  17. Rayvyn squats to study the drawing closer. "We're in this inn?" She asks, tapping with her dagger. "Do you know how to write?"
  18. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue nods. That explains it. "At least you were smart enough not to bring it back to camp. I'm sure it would find most of us a suitable meal." @UnfortunatelyNamed
  19. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway (forest) “No, sorry. We might be able to eat some of it, but I don’t recognize any of them and I don’t want to risk eating something poisonous. Maybe Sylva knows?” @InfiniteInsanity @The Wandering Wizard
  20. Rayvyn brushes the mosquito away irritably. Who’d have thought there were mosquitoes here? She follows them into the room, eyeing his paper.
  21. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue blinked as she felt surprise and fear through the bond. She started to turn, then hesitated. The moment of fear was gone, replaced with relief and…pleasure? She shakes her head. Wasn’t he going to set wards? What the light is he doing? She decides to head back. She doesn’t recognize any of the plants, and insulting the tree people seems like a bad idea. She returns to the camp.
  22. Rayvyn walked over to the group. She had nothing against adults, dragons, or people reacting to things she couldn’t see or hear, but it made spying much harder. She blinked in surprise at his eyes, her own purple irises widening. “Hello,” she said.
  23. Rayvyn watched him pass suspiciously. He’s not humans, she decided. I would be surprised if any of them are completely human. She stepped back into the shadows, observing where she couldn’t be observed.
  24. The girl—called Rayvyn by her people—eyed him. He seems…human enough. She stared at him. Usually her pale purple eyes kept people away, if the knife didn’t.
