    I did! That's what most of my writing is, I don't have the skills to write a full novel yet, so I just write scenes, and scenes, and more scenes, and create characters, and write things with only dialogue and things with no dialogue and then I write poems and then I keep writing and it never ends. It's a fun way to write

    Hmm... I would probably clarify where it says Russ instead of Alan, that took a good minute to understand, for a bit there I thought it completely changed characters. I also think the transition from "everything's normal, coffee is gross, this dude is very sick" to "BOOM MAGIC AND THINGS ARE GLOWING AND OOOOH YOU CAN DIE NOW" (two very common tropes) was a little abrupt, it almost felt forced? I did really love the end though, and that last sentence was epic.

    Oooh! That wasn't at all what I was expecting after the first couple lines, it was disturbing and I loved it!

    She’s a pretty sweet character. Any scene that starts with someone in a prison is a good one, I’m writing one of those right now

    Looking around, he sees dust covering everything. He can’t even see much past *sigh* Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it’s so thick. He does see a small cluster of vines near the base of the cornucopia.

    The cornucopia sits in the center of the roof, but the rest of it is deserted.

    I liked it,

    Not being 

    So scared.

     

    This moment will end,

    But right now,

    There's no light.

    I believe I'll find peace,

    But some pieces

    Will always

    Be missing.

    In another room off to the side, Rue groaned. You're supposed to be better than this. Shut up. You're supposed to care. I don't. You should be more than a petty little girl. SHUT UP! Why are you so weak? Ignoring the voice in her head, she sat down. Time alone would help. Yes, that was all she needed. Some time away from everyone else.

    She shook her head. "No, no, nothing at all. Just an...interesting refugee."

    “Ah…no,” Rue says, disgusted. Clearly his mind has been broken by the stress. She tries to heal it, but, strangely, finds nothing in need of healing. “Well, it doesn’t matter now. You’re in the clinic, and you’re safe, but, of course, if you hurt these people you won’t be safe anywhere.”

    Rue watched him for a moment, then sniffed and walked over to jar man. “What do you need to know?” She asked.

    Rue sniffed and walked away from the noisy refugees, eventually sitting on a couch in the corner.

    Rue lets the gateway snap shut behind Nameless and the stranger, then eyes the milling crowd. “I guess we just let them all find rooms now?

    “Come on,” Rue said sharply when the last refugee had gone through, walking through the gateway without looking to see if TAAron was following.

    Rue opened the gateway a little wider and started ushering refugees through it.
