...because if we all put our drawings here, maybe we'll be as cool as Fadracula. Put thy inktober stuff here! Or don't! But I'll put mine here, it's not beautiful because I can't draw, and y'know what that's okay. Here's my first one, sorry for the bad picture quality and sorry I have weird dreams

Eddie appears in the middle of the sky. "Tributes!" She says. "Who wants to see the interviews I've just had with your families? You don't, I know. We'll give you the shortened version, because we all want some action, and let's be honest, no one really cares about if this is the last time you'll ever see your families. Enjoy the show!" The sky fades to black, then turns on again, showing Eddie standing in the middle of a crowded square. “Hi, folks! We’re starting off our top 8 interviews in district 1! The camera pans and shows a scared group of people huddled together. There's a boy of about 19, several younger children, and a woman who only looks partly aware of anything that's happening. "You monster!" The older boy shouts, rushing towards her. "You took my brother away twice, and now you stand here and laugh like it's entertainment! I'm going to rip you limb from limb..." He runs to her, about to attack, but suddenly Eddie is behind him and there's a glint of something silver in his throat. The boy chokes, then collapses. "Mmm," Eddie says distastefully. "Yes. That was Kaa's brother. Do the rest of you have anything you'd like to say about him?" One of the children starts sobbing as she looks at the corpse. "Mama," she says, pointing. "Mama, mama, help me..." The woman looks up, eyes foggy. "What is there left to say? You took my boy, my sweet boy, and he came back to me. And then he left again, and he was glad. Do you hear me? He was glad. Oh...oh dear me. I think I should be getting home, now." The screen fades to black, then lights back up. "Continuing forward to district 2! And I’ve got to tell you, it’s a strange one. No one here seems to even know who Ezrium is! I’ve asked around, but…well! I’ve even talked to a couple people who didn’t know he was in district 2 until the games. I took the opportunity to do my own research, and it’s incredible! It seems that our last remaining career is from a long line of dead tributes! I’d wish him luck, but…” she shrugs. “Luck won’t get you far in my games.” Eddie’s voice sounds in the dark sky. “We do have a contestant in district 3, Fen, but I’m not very fond of district 3, or of Fen, so we’re skipping that. Hope no one minds.” The sky once again shows Eddie, this time sitting in a small house. A tired looking woman is also there, looking broken. “I’m here in district 6 with Ninddle’s mother. Anything you’d like to say about your son?” The woman blinks. “He’s such a kind boy,” she says softly, “always sharing what he had with the poor and making toys for the children.” She bursts into tears, and Eddie laughs. “Well, I’ve got to say it. You’re all poor here, silly lady! And your son? He is a child.” Eddie cocks her head. “Was. No, is. He’s still a child, unless he’s died in the last 5 minutes.” She turns so quickly it makes a boy on her other side jump. “And this here is a friend named…Risk?” “Rask,” the boy mumbles. “Right. That. And do you have anything to say about Ninddle?” “He talks a lot,” Rask says. “Um…he makes lots of jokes.” And then he falls silent. Eddie nods solemnly. “Yes, there are lots of jokes to be made here. District 6, everyone!” This time, the picture shows a very crowded hut. “District 8!” Eddie shouts over the noise. “Bob has lots of family!” A sheep baaaas. “And lots of pets!” “I don’t even know what a Radiant is,” a lady who appears even older than Eddie says loudly. “I do!” Says a strangely patterned…creature. “Oh, I’m Bob’s best friend! I’ve…uh…had some experience with Radiants!” Another women shoves past them and glares at the camera. “I will kill you all!” She shouts. “How dare you take my baby? How dare you?” Eddie chuckles and shoves her away. “Yes, Bob has lots of family,” she says, irritated. “Where is Bobby?” A small voice says, and the camera zooms to show a small child pulling at Eddie’s dress (which is a shimmery purple today). “I sleep in his room now. Mommy says he isn’t coming home.” “Ah,” an aged man says, smacking his cane into the floor. “I have great faith in young Bobethen. He’s always been a bright lad, oh yes he has. In fact,” the grandfather says, a twinkle in his eyes, “he’s my favorite.” The man is immediately swarmed by squealing children. A cat meows. Over the sound of screaming a man is crying. Bob’s father. “O-Kay,” Eddie says, pursing her lips. “MOVING ON…” Now Eddie is in a small room, sitting at a painfully empty table. “I’m here in district 10 with Rolen’s mother, who probably has a name, but we don’t really care about that. You just want to know why you should care that she exists!” Eddie laughs. “So. Have anything to tell us about Rolen?” The woman looks at the table. “I just want him to come home, and I know he can. He’s strong, brave, and ruthless, he gets that from his father. But he can get lost, and I don’t want him to lose himself. When he gets back, I’m going to try to help him forget that anything happened, try to erase it from his memory. Just tell him to come home.” Eddie puts a hand on the woman’s. “I can assure you,” she said genuinely, “that no one will ever forget ano—no one will ever forget one of my games.” A man walks into the room. “I don’t know why you’re even bothering to talk to us. The kid’s a wimp. If I was in his place I’d have won already, with over ten kills. If he doesn’t come back, I won’t be upset. That’s all from me.” The man turns and leaves, and Eddie chuckles. “Winning that quickly with so many kills is harder than it looks, boy,” she mutters. “Still, I would have liked it if your son were that competent.” She turns and stares at the camera. “I think we’re all looking for more excitement this year, aren’t we?” Just then, a voice floats in through the window. “Someone needs to kill Rolen. He’s a psychopath, we can’t have someone like that winning. When he lived here he tried to kill me! And I’m not the only one either. His mom thinks he’s perfect and his dad encourages it, so it’s not all his fault, but someone, please, get rid of him.” Rolens mother immediately pushes up her chair and runs to the window, but there’s nobody there. Eddie grins. “Ooh, I’m sorry, stranger. You see, only psychopaths win my games.” The screen fades, then rises again. “Still in district 10! Wow! Top 8, and 2 people from district 10, while most of our careers are long dead! Yes, I’m here with Wren’s family. Anything to say about your…child?” Wren’s older sister is the first to speak up. She sounds incredulous. “Wait, Wren is still alive? Ha! I didn't know. That's really surprising, actually.” She laughs. “I thought they'd be the first one to be killed off.” A smaller child runs to the camera. “Hi, Wren! I miss you!” He smiles, his face so close to the camera its practically taking up the entire screen. “Mama doesn't think you'll win, but I do. I know you'll win. You have to,” he says, face determined. He has a smear of something, peanut butter? on his face. Another small child, this one a girl, comes to the camera, shoving her brother away but not looking directly at the lens. “What is this for again? I'm supposed to talk about Wren? Can't I just tell them something?" She turns to face the screen. “Wren? Please win. If you don't win, who else will tell me stories? Marnie sure won't. She's been mean since you've been gone.. I miss you. Please come home…” she begins to cry and turns her head away from the screen. Wren’s mother finally enters, ushering her children away. She holds her head high and stares directly at the camera. “Do I think Wren will win the Hunger Games? Uh, no. I really don't. But I hope they do. I don't think that Marnie realizes how much is at stake during these games. I don't know how she's able to just…not care…” The woman sighs and turns to go. Eddie is standing in a mostly quiet house. “District 11,” she murmurs absentmindedly. “Home, sweet home. Tell me about Amyra Ay.” A girl who looks just younger than Cassy is struggling not to cry. “I miss Amyra…” Freya begins, tears in her eyes, “Why'd you take her away from me? I want her back!” Freya cried. “It's so unfair. I want her to come home. I'm gonna find her and bring her home. I hate you,” Freya mumbled, “I hate everyone so much. I need Amyra back.” A small boy, about 5, runs into the room. He stops and looks curiously at the camera. Theo was bubbly and clueless, practically unfazed by his sister’s tears. “Amyra, I lost my ball. Do you have my ball? I want it back. It's the blue bouncy one. Freya, do you have my ball?” He bobbled about until he tripped and landed face first in the dirt. Then, he climbed back up to his feet and walked off. Before Eddie could say anything, another girl, the same age as Amyra, comes and glares at the camera. Aeryn was quiet and defensive, holding in her emotions. She spoke in a hushed tone, filled with unspoken hatred. "Amyra will win. She will destroy anyone and everyone. I know she'll win.” She looked around to see if her younger siblings were listening. “And for anyone planning on killing her…I will find you. And you will die.” Her voice was slightly shaky, but no tears fell. She spun away from the camera and marched off, head high. “District 11, such strange children,” Eddie says, sounding only slightly more present. “Such strange children. But perhaps not strange adults? Do you have anything to say about your daughter?” “I love my daughter," Olviere began, reserved and polite. He never really showed his emotions anymore, not since his wife Octavia died. "I love my daughter, and I am so proud of her. Her-her mother would be too.” He said, then turned away. “And that’s district 11, everyone,” Eddie says, turning away. She steps out of the house, where several people run, and several glare at her back. She doesn’t seem to notice. “And last but not least, Sage, district 12!” Eddie says, sounding much more chipper. “He has no family, and no friends. No one likes him. Great!! And now we’ll let you get back to your fighting. And remember...my beasties are hungry. I would get this over with quickly." She disappears from the sky. As she does, it becomes obvious that the highstorm is over. @Ravenclawjedi42 Wiiiiiit come hither pleassseeee @The Honorable One @Lightweaver2 @Lotus Blossom @Cinnamon @shortcake @Canada Lover @Lord Spirit

Oh I completely forget that normal people don't say that. It accidentally happened on a swim team chat last year, one of the guys said wtf on there, so his older brother clarified that it was "what the frick" so another kid clarified "what the fence" and it kind of evolved from there and now I say things like that...if you ever hear my say what the fridge or what the french revolultion, yes that's why.. NOOOOOOOOO HOW COULD YOUUUUUUU -

The world is so full of hate, and it makes me a little bit sad. I think it’s funny, in a bitter ironic way, that even the people who worship a God of love are so quick to turn and tear down another. But there’s nothing we can do about their hate except to counter it with our love, and that’s what I’ll keep doing, because that’s why we’re on this earth, y’know? We’re here to love, and I’ll do that wherever the Lord puts me, because there’s so much anger already. In President Nelson’s talk he mentioned getting rid of anything that takes away our agency, and he talked specifically about addictions, but anger is that way too. When we get angry we lose the ability to do anything else, and that’s something that happens to everyone, y’know? …hehe I don’t even know why I’m talking, I’m in a weird mood. Love ya Alphy <3 -

Ouchie Alphy. Ouchie. Utah’s a very interesting place, and far from perfect, but y’know what everywhere’s like that a bit too. (me, who’s never lived outside of Utah)
