    Okay, I wrote another "child becomes evil and magic" scene!! This one is similar to Blood and Ghost, but it got a little...strange. I started thinking about life halfway through it, so...oops. And so I present... Monster:

    Wren nodded. Some of the harshest places are the most beautiful...his eyes grew distant for a moment, and then they darkened. Not always, though. Just then, there was a loud bang as Eddie shot the chain.

    That...that sounds like a harsh world. Anything that kills for pleasure...probably ought to die. "Great," Eddie said, not noticing any possible awkwardness. "Now shoot the chains, or hand my the gun."
