Clinic: Dr. Ashlynn Marie's Office (Ash) Ash slowly stood up and walked towards one of the lights. Mysterious Forest (Insa) Insa kept looking at it through the glass. She lightly traced over it with a finger. "It doesn't look bad right?" She looked up from the glass. "Nevermind. It's not important. We need to figure out how we're getting out of here. And what we're going to do about Saar."

Clinic: Dr. Ashlynn Marie's Office Ash squinted at the spots of light. "Who are you?" She whispered, still doing her best not to scare Jinx.

Clinic: Dr. Ashlynn Marie's Office Ash froze. She tried to blink away the spots of light.

Insanity Clinic: Dr. Ashlynn Marie's Office Ash shivered slightly and looked up at the thermostat confused. The temperature in the Clinic was generally stable. It didn't change often. She hugged Jinx a little tighter, attempting to keep the breeze from scaring her or make her cold.

Ash kept rocking her for a bit.

Ash continued rocking. "The best part of being young is that you have plenty of time to learn. I would say no young person is too far gone. We'll always have time to teach them something and help them somehow."

Ash rocked a little side to side. "Take a breath. Try to ask your question again."

Ash wrapped her arms around Jinx. "You aren't. I've never met somebody who was past the point of help."

"Oh honey. No." Ash got out of her chair and sat down in front of Jinx. "Everyone is different. You've been through a lot. And I don't think you got the proper help to move forward. Most people like you look broken in the head to people who don't care to look close enough." She made very deliberate eye contact with Jinx. "You're head isn't broken. It just needs a little help. Everyone's head does sometimes." She smiled softly. "That's why there are doctors like me. We're here to help make sure everyone gets the help they need."

Ash nodded. "Alright then."

Y'all want to know what was sooo much fun today.
Walking to eighth period only to hear tornado sirens...
And then being stuck in a locker room with boys who were dead set on being as chaotic as possible... for an hour.
Though I was given much more information than I normally would have because eighth period is my show choir period. And as is quickly discovered, show choir children are insane. So many people were keeping very close track of the storm and tornados. One dude was even sad because when they let us go only to immediately tell us to go back he almost got outside and was close to seeing the tornados. He looked like he was near tears. I don't think he actually was but it looked that way.
Yup.
Lovely fun.
Tornados and big windy storms are the worst part of being a Nebraskan.

Ash frowned. "For the record, I disagree with her. How did your parents die?" Insa nodded absentmindedly. She reached up and touched her neck. "It looks kinda cool. Though I don't like where it came from. That kinda ruins it."

"How did you get here?" Insa rolled her eyes and took the glass from him. She stared at her reflection. The tiny little branches that reached up her neck. Saar's words echoed through her head. I will always be a part of you. "Oh."

"How old are you?"

"Don't feel what?"

"I don't want to let her do that to me anymore. I'm not her puppet. I've made up my mind on what I'm going to do. I'm going to stay at the Clinic. With you and everyone else. That's where I feel safe. She can't tell me no anymore. She can't lie to me anymore. That's where I want to be." "What do you keep looking at?"

Insa frowned. "I'm gonna be honest I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just throwing out ideas, hoping that something makes sense and might work. And since we don't know what we're doing we're just gonna have to try things. But I can't do this without you." She grabbed Bookwyrm's hand. "What I don't understand is why you're scared for me. Saar hates you and still kind of likes me. And we helped fight a much worse and much scarier god not that long ago. Why are you worried?"

Insa kept talking. "But I know she's somewhere. And she's in a physical form so we could actually talk to her. All that we need to know is what to say and how to find her. Maybe..." She paused. "I feel like you aren't normally this quiet." Ash worked silently for a moment. "What's your name?"

"I'm glad you like it." Ash sat down at her desk and pulled out a tablet. "I'm gonna do a bit of paperwork while you finish that." "It was like that one archive. The one where you all fell asleep in order to go inside. I fell asleep and then I was there. And Saar was there. She was not very happy with me." Insa sighed. "What she wants hasn't changed."

Ash pulled out a little bowl and put two scoops in it. She gave it to her. "Don't eat it too fast or you'll get a brain freeze."
