  1. The witch shrugged as he left. She didn't have a poison that would've helped him anyway. "I'm good at cooking, and killing things," Nera said. She slowed her jog into a walk was the made it back to the townhall building. Inside, Lerren and Lord Igenis were waiting in the main hall now, instead of the sitting room from before. Most people were gathered back at the city hall by now, as the hour for preparation was over. (I'll avoid moving the plot forward while Panda makes a sheet).

July took it, not sure what to say. "I . . . I'm sorry." For nothing in particular, but everything. August's bandages were done by now, and he was shakily standing up. "You should sleep through what's left of tonight, and leave in the morning," He said grimly. "Are you doing something different?" July asked. August smiled. "I'm going to go ask around, someone around here will have a shovel I can borrow."
  3. ooooo do we have a timeline for sign ups closing and the start of the games? also the typo on Sanderson had me so confused for a second lol . . . I couldn't figure out who Anderson was.
  4. The most entertaining part of the Minecraft live events isn't even the show anymore, it's watching the fandom re-implode every single time.

  5. Hmmm, mostly the second point I think. I don't she was poorly written at all, I really liked how she shaped RoW's plot, and some of the stuff she did. I think she could have been more unique, but I always feel that way about characters who lean more into their trope then others. I certainly don't think the story would be better without her. I'm speaking more on the surface level of 'liking' or having an emotional attachment to her character. It feels like a lot of people in fandom really enjoyed her character, and liked her (the way you can like a character who is objectively evil), but I just didn't see it. I certainly don't see why people ship her with Navani . . . It's not that I have a hard time liking villainous characters (my favorite book is the Silmarillion for heavens sake), I just don't think Rabonial is compelling or interesting. She's just an archetypal mad scientist character, perfect for furthering the plot and Navani's scientific discoveries, but nothing more. I never really related or felt for her during the book.

July glanced at August, who stopped to think. "Staying in one place might be hard, but if there's anywhere to do, it would be a massive city . . ."
  7. That . . . depends on the brand honestly. The nicer ones aren't as dry. But overall, that's why you put cream cheese or smear on it, do balance out the dryness. hmmm I've only read the first book, but I don't remember hating him . . . I can see what you mean though
  8. Welcome to the Shard!! Do you like bagels?! What's your least favorite Brandon character?
  9. 😳 this emoji is such a silly little guy I love him.

Also there was a lockdown at my college, but later the admin said he didn't know what triggered it because the police didn't find anything. We hid in the TA's office, and it was a little silly because I had Polites's lotus eater song stuck in my head the whole time.

I can't wait for lunch I'm so hungry.

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

July stared at the ground, wondering if he should say something. He wanted to encourage her to stay. She'd just found her family, and he'd ruined that. But he couldn't bear the thought of her being in danger. "You and your husband live in a different village?" August asked. "Maybe you could take Jolane with you for a while. Then she wouldn't be here when they come through."

"Yes . . . unfortunately, some old foes of ours have caught up to us early. We can't stay here, it would put your village in peril. We're hoping to lead them away from you." August explained.

August shook his head. "He will definitely have rejoined the rest of her hunt by now--that wasn't her entire party, she came into the village with a small group to be more discrete, and because she thought it was only me. She always rode with a much larger company of warriors, and I suspect they're only a few miles away. Not to mention it's the middle of the night, tracking him would be a nightmare. If we are all going to leave together, then we should rest and prepare."

"That not's what I . . . It was a manner of speaking, Arke, please don't kill anyone." August nodded, "It was my mistake not to trust you with this, and I'm sorry for it." July finally spoke up. "I like the idea of going to Truehearth, it'll be easier to lead them away then evacuate everyone." He was almost done with Augusts bandages now. Only a few of the cuts had been particularly deep.
  18. That's a good point, he is older then me, remember, and Chuck is at least 45.
  19. "Oh, that's unfortunate." She said, suddenly feeling guilty for her earlier comments. "I'm sorry to hear it."

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

"If I may--at risk of souring the mood further . . . September's assistant ran off when I killed her, he was gone before I can stop him. There's a chance he will make it back to the others and report this location. If they return to this village looking for us they will be less then gentle." July was applying salve to a cut on his shoulder as he spoke. "I'm sorry, this is quite the trainwreck, isn't it?" "No one, at the moment." He sighed, "Haven't we seen enough violence for one night?" He avoided her eyes.
