  1. "I understand that, but if you need to fit four people in there, it's still a lot of iron for our limited supply. And again, there's the question of how you'll convince anyone to let you take a chunk of the stuff into the void." She paused her walk for a moment, clearly deep in thought. "Not only that, but if this material is so indestructible, how do you plan on getting out once you've gotten to... wherever you're going? I feel like there are a lot of holes in this plan of yours."
  2. "About how much are you thinking? Also, didn't you do it magically just now anyway? Why do you need a blacksmith?"
  3. OK I keep accidentally deleting my post, so here's take three. Yeah, this is just me trying to get information for a read. I'm horribly indecisive, so I've been pretty much on the sidelines this whole time deciding what to say. I think I'm just going to give my perspective on Mat, Turtle, and Stick because they're the only ones with votes right now and I don't trust myself enough to bring up suspicion on a completely different person. So @Matrim's Dice: He's seemed kind of defensive, pretty much always retaliating when someone votes him or is accusatory. This might just be typical and it would make sense for a vil trying to keep themself alive. Overall, he's been contributing a lot with his own reads and such. Still, I think slight elim lean for him. Next is @Turtle: I sort of agree with Shadow that they haven't been contributing much and have been focusing a lot on their image. So sight elim lean there as well, maybe a little more than Mat because Mat has been making what at least look to me like positive contributions. And then @_Stick_: The vote on her came from the reasoning that she voted a lot without saying why, but she did recently do a big reads post, so if that's the only reason to be suspicious of her than that makes her neutral in my eyes. I'm going to go ahead and vote Turtle for now, but definitely subject to change. I'm open to chat about this stuff whether it be on the thread or in PM.
  4. "Fine. But I don't know where you're going to get all the iron you need. It's relatively scarce in a small realm such as this, and I don't know that the king is going to give up the contents of the treasury for your misadventures." She began leading the way.
  5. "I... well, there's a place in the Capital, about an hour's walk from here."
  6. "What for?" Mell asked. "What type of project are you pursuing?"
  7. As he watched, the handle of the blade was obliterated in a large flash of light. However, Nameless could just barely see the blade pass through the barrier unscathed.
  8. I don't recall ever being sick on christmas, but there have been a few occasions when I was sick on Halloween, although I was usually pretty much recovered by my birthday the next day. Yes, I'm in high school. I think the hardest class I am taking is one that is basically a speech and debate class. Writingf and performing the speech was really tough for me. After weeks of stalling, he finally said that he would not let me read it to him, but would instead read it on his own. I've now been badgering him about it and he still apparently hasn't gotten around to starting.
  9. "Well, I truly don't think that it is worth discovering. Given that the man @Nameless is so adamant about its potential as a gateway to other dimensions, your idea could have merit. Except, he said that the transition did not result in pain or apparent disintegration. So I think that it's just a barrier that kills and destroys things that try to pass it. Try to..."
  10. "The void has been here always, as far as we can tell. And if the shoreline was here before the void, than wouldn't the stones be the same way? I imagine that there is some logic to it, even if we can't figure it out."
  11. "No. It is not. And yet, neither was the dirt, nor the stone that Theodore threw in prior to your arrival. Do you have a point to this?"
  12. "I have not personally, but there are multiple written accounts of people trying and dying. I don't think whatever the separation is based on whether to object is alive. After all, the whole shoreline remains unaffected."
  13. "Woah! Hold it. That void stuff is still definitely dangerous." Mell kicked up some dirt, flinging it into the waves just where TAAron had been. It disappeared in a flash of light. "Again, I don't know why your friend there didn't get obliterated, but that's no cause for carelessness."
  14. Yes, especially if it's a rare occasion where I'm in a place with actual stars. TPBM has pet peeves that they refuse to vocalize.
  15. Ok, I realize I've been pretty inactive this whole time, so I'm going to try to be a contributor now. I've sort of been lost in regards to what kind of behavior is typical of villagers vs. of eliminators. Or, if it completely depends on the person, then should I be looking at earlier games or smth to figure out how people act? If anyone has any tips, please let me know.
  16. With a jolt, TAAron sat up in the void-water and quickly got himself out. "Both? I don't think that's fair. I'm perfectly sane. By the way, what just happened?"

I really like your insomniac poems

    -Cinnamon, a few minutes ago.

    Well, me too!

    Insomniac Poem v3

It's that time again where I'm up too late,

Tonight I had work to complete.

But now I'm done so here's my debate:

Stay online or go to sleep?

It might be quite the obvious question,

and yet I find myself quite lost.

    Sleep is always the suggestion,

and staying lucid comes with a cost.

So why am I so unable

to drop my head and close my eyes?

The issue I find on the table

is the presence of this here screen.

I love existing on the Shard,

I'd love to all the time.

But it does make it very hard

    to reach that restfulness sublime.

    So goodnight to all,

    goodnight to screen.

Goodnight to friends and hello to dreams.

    1. Cinnamon

      Cinnamon

Yayyyyyy!! I hope you sleep well

  18. @The Wandering Wizard, you are a great role-player and you also just seem like a cool person. You were one of the first people to welcome me here, so thank you for that!
  19. Insistently deny my own involvement. WWYDIYF a shardblade in your pocket?
  20. "I have no idea. I met her, maybe... a bit over half an hour ago?" "I have no idea. Perhaps it is something related to why the rocks do not evaporate on contact with it. What the reason for either of those things is, I do not know."
  21. "That's what I've been trying to..." TAAron, although apparently recovered from his painful episode, fell unconscious, hitting the ground and rolling into the void. And then... Nothing happened. He lay there, unhurt, the dark mass lapping at his side like the harmless waves on a beach. "Well, that's unprecedented," Mell remarked. "This is Terra de Lumine, my homeland. We've had a lot of unexpected visitors today. I wouldn't go touch that void stuff, by the way. I don't know why he hasn't disintegrated, but there's no guarantee that you won't."
