  2. "I don't think the increased danger of both of us being in the same place makes that a worthwhile trade-off. So far, it doesn't seem like I'll be very reliable." He paused. "Can you tell me why you actually want me to stay? Who is Daran?" @Szeth_Pancakes
  3. "Why does that make it any more of a good idea for me to stay?"
  4. "That is a logical fallacy. If something is dangerous, you should get away from it. That is common sense."
  5. "No, it would have to be reinstated. It doesn't matter much, though, since I don't think I'll be trying to leave this time."
  6. "Well? Let's get out of here so you can dispose of me safely."
  7. "Can you drop me off somewhere where I won't be noticed? Maybe back where you got me?"
  8. He sighed, and sat down. "I should have stayed on that planet."
  9. "They thought I was dangerous because I killed people!" Variance yelled suddenly. "Not because I was some sort of threat to them. People around me died."
  10. Variance shook his head. "I'm still cursed. I should go." He moved unsteadily toward the exit of the ship.
  11. "...Stabbed? No." "I'm really confused. Why is there a dead person in here? And that dagger..." Variance, who was starting to come more into focus, looked aghast. "This is my fault."
  12. "I'm not Daran. What happened?" Variance turned to Ayia. "What is going on?" @Channelknight Fadran
  13. A still fuzzy Variance knelt over them, concerned. "What happened? Are you okay?"
  14. The extremely bright light returned for a brief moment. Suddenly, Allera could not see. And they could not hear. And they could not feel themself or anything else. All of their senses were cut, leaving them in a surreal state of suspended consciousness. Then, everything came back. To Ayia, it appeared that as soon as the knife was free from Variance, Allera's eyes unfocused and they collapsed, the dagger sliding out of their hand. Then they came to again. The sudden return of senses was overwhelming and nauseating.
  15. Variance continued to deteriorate rapidly.
  16. Variance continued to disintegrate. The dagger was still in his back.
