    Vena pushed him back.

    "Vena." She wiped away the blood that had begun to spill into her eyes.

    She barely flinched, and continued to stand in front of the being defiantly.

    Unsure what else to do, Vena stood between Mike and the being of light.

    Vena was momentarily caught of guard. Seeing the figure, she ran at it.

    She watched him, conflict in her expression. Then she got up and walked over to Mike, who she saw was still on the ground. "...Are you alright?" @Experience

    He once again entered the trance, and the same thing happened to this sphere.

    Vena crashed into the ground, feeling her skin scrape across the cobblestones, tearing painfully. She just stayed there, not caring about the blood that began to cover her legs, arm, and clothing.

    Vena lunged after Wren and grabbed him, tackling him to the ground. "Leave them!"

    Vena got in between the two. "Let Eddie and Lilyana go."

    Seeing the conflict, Vena ran towards one of the kidnappers, trying to see how she could help stop them.

    "That's probably a good idea. Though like I said, I'm pretty useless. Who knows if I'll be able to help." Vena quickly made her way out of the inn.

    "I can do that." She smiled back, though she didn't completely meet his eyes.
