    He nodded and led the way out of the kitchen.

    TAAron looked at her, wondering why she was holding on so tightly, as though to keep him from leaving. I have all the time in the world now, don't I? And even if I didn't, this would be time well spent. He stroked her hair.

    He didn't try to leave. "Do you know what that is?"

    TAAron glanced toward the door, wondering what the source of the sound was.

    TAAron moved to her and pulled her into his arms. He was painfully aware that this body wasn't even a real human one anymore, but it would have to do.

    "Maybe I could find a way to get rid of it. To go back to normal?" He seemed to be getting agitated.
