    He tore through the webs easily, moving forward inexorably until each nearby spider was destroyed by one of his blows.

    Immediately, Sandy took to them with his staff. He swung in wide arcs, and whenever he hit a spider it was essentially obliterated by the sheer force of it.

    Well, only Crickets knows that. Sandy stood back, holding his staff in case the spider got too close.
