  1. I don't know. You're the ones who came here.
  2. Not yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get here very soon.
  3. I could tell when TAAron arrived. I wasn't sure why he was here, and I know that the gods probably could tell when he entered, too. This is a very perilous situation.
  4. But you feel differently about TAAron? I'm a woman from his home, who happened to be magically... involved enough to stay stable here when I died.
  5. Ah. You all don't tend to like male magic users very much, do you?
  6. Who are you? How do you know TAAron? Why are you all here with him? Tors didn't sound prying or critical, just curious.
  7. "We... need to destroy Bonum and Malum. Or I will be killed instead." There was a moment of pause. Those two are very dangerous right now. Especially Malum. How exactly do you plan on doing that?
  8. "...Tors." Yes. Hello, TAAron. Why are you here? She sounded very concerned.
  9. You shouldn't be here. The point of light spoke with a soft, feminine voice. TAAron appeared shocked.
  10. "No..." A blue point of light flitted along the surface of the water, attaching them rather rapidly.
  11. He followed, and they were both able to get up to the air without much trouble. It felt odd without the normal tension at the surface of the liquid, but it was manageable. Whatever sea or ocean they were in, it was vast. There was no land in sight in any direction, though the waterfalls obscured their surroundings somewhat. "Well... we're here." A nearby point of light lazily floated toward them.
  12. "I don't know!" His grip tightened as they rapidly approached the surface of the water, then landed. Thankfully, it seemed that it lacked the surface tension that would normally provide a painful, or in this case deadly, impact with the water. They simply fell in, deep, slowing down. The water was so perfectly clear that the illumination was mostly still present, even meters below the surface.
  13. The light continued to grow brighter, until it was akin to the fun light of a winter morning, just before sunrise. To complement this, it was also very cold. Suddenly, the ground came into view. Or... the sea? Below them, the waterfall met a glassy plane of water, so flat and still it could have been glass, if not for the mild disturbances where the cascade meet the surface. The waves from that collision didn't seem to be nearly as widespread and chaotic as they should have been. Above the water, scattered about seemingly at random, floated tiny points of light. Each one had a twin, a reflection in the perfectly still, dark expanse.
  14. He didn't seem to catch it. The water was still flowing here, directly to the side, a cascading wall of froth.
  15. Eventually, some faint light reached them, dimly illuminating the two in grayish hues. TAAron looked terrified, gripping her hand as the air buffeted them. They were still falling, and fast.
  16. TAAron grabbed it again, tightly. His hand shook. The darkness, finally, seemed to be receding slightly. It was still impossible to see, but the consuming pressure was lowering noticeably.
  17. The darkness became crushing, then piercing. It was like it was invading their souls, filling every crevice, and then deconstructing their being. It was terrifying. It also lasted for what felt like a long, long while, not disappearing or even growing weaker.
