The souls around them began to move towards them. The whispers grew more intense, and there was an overwhelming sense of fear, constriction, and guilt.
Noticeably, the bracelet still tugged down.
You're right. I guess I didn't mean anything to you after all.
His words were terse and angry, an unfamiliar time for him.
Sounds echoed across the vast space. Malum's laughter. Whispering voices of blame and guilt. Above them, TAAron's voice.
You failed me. You let me die. I trusted you.
They were now back in the too-still, too-clear waters of the underworld's ocean, souls hovering all around. A dimly lit form floated nearby.

Like all Stacis crystal, it felt cold and heavy like metal, in contrast to its appearance. Rue felt something odd from it, like a familiarity. Or a presence.
In front of Rue, a small glowing circle appeared in the air. Then, it fell to the ground with a metallic clatter. It was immediately recognizable as Stacis. It was, perhaps, some sort of bracelet.
There was a feeling of warmth and life to being back in the Clinic, though perhaps that was just the absence of the cold stillness pervasive in the underworld.
I am Bonum. And I'm sending you back.
Bonum's energy shot out to each one of them, consuming them. There was a blinding flash of white light, a feeling of weightlessness, and then... they were all back in the Clinic. Except TAAron was not.
