    "Okay." He took a deep breath, and began to think again about that cold. That deep, still cold. Fields of lost souls. Motionless gardens. The feeling of your soul succumbing to entropy, bit by bit. His eyes became vacant, his breath shallow.

    "Are you sure? Maybe it'll help. We kind of need anything we can get at this point." "That's weird. I don't remember saying that. Maybe... it was a mistake? Or I was starting to say something else?"

    "I don't know. I can try to think through it again..." He winced.

    "Uh, Death is very tall, looks old, fire behind his eyes, ledgers, castle... that's it."

    "Haly?" He seemed confused.

    "Only what I just said."

    "I just remembered some things, about the underworld. I don't know if they're things from just now, or... before."

    "That sounds like a good idea. It was... very still, I remember." His eyes widened suddenly. "Death is tall, very tall. He looks like an older man, and there's fire behind his eyes. He has a stack of ledgers in the throne room at his castle, which is also where he usually works. Haly..." A white light suddenly flashed beneath his skin, and he took a deep breath. "Woah."

    "I don't know. I was just thinking about the underworld. Trying to remember what it was like being there."

    He blinked, and seemed to regain focus. "...What?"

    He remained unresponsive.

    His expression remained distant, and he shivered visibly.

    "I didn't see anything. I just felt... cold." His expression grew distant.

    "Well, I don't remember the first time. And both times, I assume I got there by dying. Considering that that's what we're trying to avoid... I don't think it's a viable method."

    "Does it... have some sort of entrance, maybe?"

    "First things first... We need to go the the underworld, I assume?" He took the rod. "Thanks. I guess it's just a piece of Stacis we can use for... something." The glowing red light drained out of it and into TAAron. "Destroy the souls of my dead gods, apparently."

    "I'm confused. You can access it using their magic now, right?" "Right. I'm still pretty much out of ideas."
