    "If you need healing badly, I cannot do that. I'm sure you can explain whatever it is to the medics."

    "If you need healing, you should go to a medic." Julie was growing both concerned and frustrated.

    "I... I can sort of heal. But I just did recently, and I'm not very good..."

    "Might as well now, I guess." She tentatively reached out and took one of his hands. "This might take a while."

    "That's alright." They entered the large classroom, which was unstructured, individuals and small groups scattered about, doing various magical things. Julie sat down in an unoccupied area.

    "I don't know. I seem to be able to apply my magic in all sorts of ways. I could give it a try."

    "I think it could work, yes. And I don't think you're stupid." After walking for another moment, she spoke again. "I wonder if I could do that."

    "Let's just get to class for now, alright?"

    "Not at all." She looked at him for a long while. "I... I wish I could know if you had been telling the truth."

    She remained in silence while they walked, seeming unfocused.
