  1. Isadore frowned thoughtfully.
  2. The man asked him to step into the wagon— the inside of which was cluttered with a whole outfit of eccentric items— and sat him down on a chair. “Just out of curiosity, what do you think of that girl? Beosta?” I’m sorryyyyy I just really like herrrr
  3. “Simple! As long as you will allow me to keep a copy, I can do that for you right away.”
  4. What’s the best way to decapitate an elephant?
  5. “What about your brother’s voice? I’m curious.”
  6. They found the caravan Beosta was looking for. The dude told them that the sphere she has is a soul of somebody who looks like Shoe. Then he took her backstory in exchange for a map.
  7. “Come on.” The man led her into the back of his wagon. “Is it… do I have to… to talk about it?” “Thankfully, no.” The man sat her down in a chair and pulled several glowing strings out of her head, then mashed them into a small handful of tiny glowing spheres— gold, but otherwise similar to the soul she carried. “Zeddikar’s outpost in this thr— uh, planet is in a cave beneath Grendville. I have a map for you.” He handed her the parchment. Beosta glanced at it, folded it up, and stood to leave. “Wait,” the man ordered, examining one of the spheres closely. “Wait. Do they not know?” Her gaze dropped to the floor. “No,” she whispered. “Hrm. Well… you’ll have to tell them, yes? Preferably before they find out?” Beosta twisted both hands in her hair and squeezed her eyes shut. “No. I don’t want to.” “Just consider it.” ”I’ll… I’ll consider it.” They both stepped out of the wagon, the spheres vanishing into the man’s pockets. “Anything else anybody would like to know? The location of a lover, perhaps? A song long forgotten?” This is low effort… sorry I tried
  8. “Of course not,” the man scoffed. “It’s hers, not mine yet. You aren’t the one paying her for her secrets.” @Through The Living Glass Shoe could steal them or buy them second hand without Beosta’s knowledge if you think that’s something he’d do
  9. “I won’t make you tell it. I happen to be a Weaver. If you’ll step into my wagon, I’ll just pull it right out of your head.” That was something, at least. “Is there… anything else I can give you?” “Nope,” he said cheerfully.
  10. Gail snapped out of her reverie. “Oh. Oh— yes. Yes, I’d love to.” “Only the pertinent parts.” He gave Beosta a deep glance. “If you know what I mean.” She looked away. “I… I suppose,” she whispered.
  11. Beosta shrugged. “Zeddikar has many enemies,” the man said. “Let’s leave it at that. Now, I know where he can be found, but that information is incredibly privileged. You will have to give me your secrets. Your past.” Something thin and scaly wound its way around Beosta’s spine. “My… my past.” She twisted her fingers in her hair. ”Yes.”
  12. I chain you up so you can’t run away and give you a hug too. “No being sad.”
  13. She frowned. When was the last time they’d talked? She stepped toward the man. “Where’s Zeddikar’s outpost?” The man tilted his head. “Interesting question. Very knowledgeable of you.”
  14. Yes he was hehe yes I am Beosta stepped through the portal. “Is everything okay?”
  15. Isadore snickered.
  16. IS THAT ALL I GET NO SHOE WONDERING “WHO IS THIS GUY” “WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE ME” ”WHY DOES SHE HAVE HIS SOUL”
  17. After @Through The Living Glass responds to everything with the soul and stuff Beosta will come through @TwinStorm’s portsk
  18. No. Just some information. I guess she thinks the merchant knows.
  19. No. I need... I still owe the woman who sold me this.
