She reached out to steady him. "Don't fall over." She smiled, took his hand, and led him toward the kitchen.

He relaxed. That wasn't too bad. "Okay."

"You said 'yes and no'!"

He took a deep breath. "Okay."

All right— I finished the final spread and tallied up the votes for my Crowdpleaser project (yes I'm calling it that even though I'm prolly gonna peeve off a lot of you)! Thank you so much to everyone who voted (I won’t ping y’all, cuz Imma post this in about 3 places I think? Maybe 4. Will it get annoying? Uh. probably at first at least yes so, uh, I apologize for that… it prolly won’t last, if that helps (eh, I changed my mind. I'm just gonna put it here and add a plug to my next SU ) I’ve so far had a good bit of fun with this project, and the way this is going is making me very excited. Does it end well or badly? The answers to this were very close— 5 for well, 4 for badly/bittersweet. So I’ll lean toward well, but that’s definitely flexible. Romance or no? Overwhelmingly yes for romance, especially as a slow burn/sideplot. Don’t worry, dudes. I gochu. Does the villain or protagonist win? Y’all were PERFECTLY split on this, with a lot of you saying “whatever makes sense” or “both/neither”. So… cool! We’ll see what we can do with that Earth or otherwise? Overwhelmingly, y’all said otherwise (or an alternate Earth that is no longer like Earth). Thank you so much to everyone who voted and left comments! I love y’all I’ll keep you updated and do what I can. *cough cough* Speaking of keeping y’all updated…. I am now taking name submissions for characters, as well as submissions of random words. That was okay. He didn't need her approval.

She watched. "Ooo. I love when everyone knows their lines."

He sighed. A lot. "That means next to nothing."

"...the former." He blushed in embarrassment and nervously watched her work with the sphere. "Oh... yeah, I can imagine that..." She frowned. "I don't think I'm much of a hero, though, so... I don't know if I'd quite understand."

“I, uh……. I guess we should start by looking for my power,” she said reluctantly. “Just in case…”

He glanced at his arms in sudden panic. “Yes! See? They’re as black as ever……. I’ll try to reapply them tonight, though. Once we get back to shore…… aw, Narrators…” They SHOULD, if working as intended and uninhibited by natural processes. And no, they don’t make him an Ennuller.

“We’re going through that?” He eyed it. “Won’t it poison us or something?”
