    He didn't know what was going on, like usual, but that was okay. He had a magic pistol that would probably do something cool.

    Bat wrapped his arms around himself. He wasn't sure how, but he had a suspicious that he'd feel less alone if nobody were around. He took a deep breath and dumped his bag out on the ground to reorganize it. She narrowed her eyes at it. Don't you Dare eat my Pet.

    Aw, her Pet was so sweet. --- "Yeah... as long as you're happy, I guess." But he felt... weirdly lonely now. Which was absolutely stupid, but he did.

    "I... I guess..." Bat sat down and messed with the buckle of his bag. -- Ah, wonderful. Her Pet seemed to trust her now. Smart little creature. She climbed up to her Pet's Shoulder with great Ease, being a creature of Adroit Skill and Great Cunning. Bat almost laughed. Or almost cried. He wasn't sure which.

    "I..." Maybe that was okay. He didn't know. "But... that's part of you." "Weird." -- She emerged from the hole to check on her--- Aw, her Pet had run away! Poor frightened Pet. She would have to Reassure It somehow. She found Tam rather quickly and hopped over by her foot, eyeing Malevolence's rabbit.

    “Ouch!” Eiro bolted up in bed, hair dripping, little chunks of ice swimming in the puddles that were slowly soaking into his bedsheets. Thale stood above him, fully dressed, holding a bucket that Eiro would have bet had been full of ice water just a minute ago. His hands curled into fists. 

     

    “Sorren said to wake you up,” Thale said, tossing the bucket over his shoulder onto his bed. 

     

    “You know this isn’t what she meant.” Eiro got up off his bed and dried his sopping hair on Thale’s blankets. “She meant nicely. Singing or something. Don’t you know how to sing?”

     

    Thale rolled his eyes and pointed to a towel draped across the end of Eiro’s bed, which he grabbed. “Eiro, I doubt either of us would be caught dead trying to sing.”

     

    “Nope,” Eiro agreed. “Your face would scrunch up and make you look ugly every time you tried. Even if you were the best singer in the world, you’d have to wear a mask.” 

     

    “Aw, shuddup and let’s get going.”
