    She looked out the side of the jeep. “It hurt,” she finally said. - “It’s okay… how can I help?” The crab did NOT want to leave. It was KEEPING its Tam, even if it DIED in the process. Aden snorted. “I promise it’s nicer inside.”

    “Maybe,” she whispered, so quietly it was hard to hear. “They’ve done this before.” - Bat wrapped his arms around her. The tiny crab pinched her slightly, not wanting to suffocate. “Camp,” Aden informed him. “Look.” He indicated a low concrete building rising out of the shrubbery— maybe half a story high.

    She jumped badly. He swam out of the castle, leading her up toward the air. Soleil followed. - She stared at her, then curled up on the seat and rubbed her arms. “We don’t throw people out around here,” Aden told him. “Lise would never have it. And neither would any of us.” “Regardless,” Aden dismissed.

    “Okay. Let’s go now, Tam.” - The girl regained consciousness, a jolt of panic running through her from the lights in the sky. She didn’t understand what this cloth was, either. What was happening? @Through The Living Glass @_Null_ “To be fair, we didn’t know anything about your backstory,” Aden informed him.

    Bat squeezed her hand. “Wait…” Soliel touched their hands. “You’re… leaving?” “I’m sorry. But yeah.” - “On it.” The call ended. “Not far now,” Aden called back, veering off the road onto the bumpier dirt path— a decently hidden one. “They all gonna make it?”

    CUZ Aden turned and grinned at her. - He bit his lip so hard he worried he might chew it off. “Okay,” he whispered. “We should… we should probably go…” “I wasn’t that loud,” Aden complained. “That’s great!” She could hear the smile in Lise’s voice. “I’ll meet you as soon as you get back to base.” AW BOO

    "Chill out; I'm a professional!" He took a 135 degree turn by sliding on a convenient patch of ice. "Tam," he said softly, "Are you okay?" - "Hey, Irie. Please give me some good news." The girl groaned and stirred.

    Bat frowned. He didn't like the way she was looking. "Tam? Hey, Tam?" He grabbed her hand. They drove off at an incredible speed. Strangely, nobody chased them. Aden didn't trust that. "Irie, call Lise and give her an update," he directed, taking a turn so fast two wheels briefly left the ground.

    They ran outside after Aden messed with the controls. @_Null_ the moonlight should be interesting for him Aden ran for a jeep parked randomly in the shadows.

    Bat extended his finger, which the crab pinched. "Ow," he laughed. "What's out there, Tam?"

    Aden grinned at her and off they went. A guard came out of the checkpoint up ahead after a minute ofrunning for the gang. He had a burrito in his hand, and froze, looking confused. "Halt," he said, with his mouth full.

    WE SHOULD @Sequence He waved his tiny claws. "He's so cute," Bat said. See below She nodded and swayed. She shook her head, swayed, lost her balance, and fainted. "Charm?" Aden scoffed.

    The girl slowed, stopped and trembled, panting. She looked very pale.
