    Near the bottom of the lake where the glow originated was weirdly warmer. Bat dove too, and came up with a piece of glowing crystal.

    He came up sputtering and splashed her. The fizzi was now regarding her reproachfully from a rock on the beach.

    He squeaked, and then blushed, having noticed he’d become rather squeaky. It was a decisively unmasculine noise. “Hey!” He flicked water back. - “So what now?” Eepy happily settled back on his shoulders.

    It made a high chittering sound that resembled her laugh. “does it pass inspection?” Bat asked her. And Feather, who was here now. Aden shook his head. Five blushed and leaned against Starlight again. “Yes yes yes! Answers!!”

    The fizzi jumped to her shoulder. His bushy hair tickled her ear. He was kind of tempted to go swimming. The water was always nice and cold. "Just a little while." She was awake now. Five leaned against his shoulder. Aden gave her an interested look, and she blushed. Aden drove toward the hotel.
