  1. Well, today has certainly been the most eventful uneventful day ever. What do I mean by this? Well basically I stayed at home all day doing nothing. But if you really look at it I finished what I’d consider my first real art piece. Put my emotions through a blender and paper mache-d them back together and then become a professional manipulator and diplomat, and used those skills to get someone to put Stormlight on their tbr list.
First the art. If you haven’t already checked out my art thread please do because you’ll get the full story there but I found an old unfinished sketch inspired by an awesome short story my our very own Silhouette that I turned into art.
    Next. The blender.
The Magnus archives is a horror fiction podcast that is very good. I finished season one today and, rust and ruin, I cried. That second last episode had hilarious bits, terrifying bits, adorable bits and sad bits. Please listen to TMA now.
I am a very sleep deprived sick lunatic whose emotions have been ,Essex with so badly in a good way so if any of my posts in the last 24 hours seem… off. That’s why.
    Next. The manipulator.
I have a friend (shock, horror, really? Haha very funny) this friend is extremely good at art and so I asked them for advice with my drawing. When I was done, it definitely did not come out as I planned(but in a good way). That’s when the scheme erupted in my drunken-on-fatigue brain. I’d been trying to find a way to pitch Stormlight to them without boring them. I knew what this friend liked in books and I knew that the idea of Spren would really appeal to them.  Sooooo I sent them the image and made an “offhand” (totally ;) ) comment about how it wasn’t what I was planning on coming out and how I’d gotten so wrapped up in the art l must’ve attracted a bunch of Creationspren. They naturally were like “huh?” and I, super innocently responded with something like “whoops, you wouldn’t get that reference, you haven’t read it” of course I knew that my friend would be even more intrigued by this and they asked what the reference was I gave a short (but compelling) explanation of Spren, the basic ones, mentioning Radiant oaths and sentient Spren probably would have scared him off at that point. They asked what book it was and I told them. Imagine my excitement when they said that he would add it to their tbr! (And it was completely their idea too ;) .-. ) My first friend to say “maybe to a Brando book!
Today was a truly monumental nothing day! I should get Covid more often
    Good night.
