There is the Compiled WoB Thread here as well as one over at the WoT site Theoryland.com (don't be fooled by the "WoT Interview search" there is a ton of Cosmere WoB in there). As to the questions, #1 I don't think so on the first one, but I wouldn't bet on my knowledge of that. #2 Would you consider the Godking's light bending aura which turned the white stones colorful to be objects having color returned to fuel Awakening?

New Szeth Shirt [Words of Radiance Spoilers]

Alright... I'm not a huge Szeth fan, but that is pretty awesome!- 27 replies

Personalized Books

He has done it for me twice on the two orders I placed. Doesn't necessarily mean he'll continue to do that, his prerogative, but he's usually good to us needy fans! I don't know if he'll answer "any question", and the answer may be "RAFO"... I asked one question and the answer was "No, sorry." -
Adolnasium Needs to be Destroyed
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to RawToast225's topic in Cosmere Discussion
LotR resolution removed magic from middle earth, but it wasn't abolished throughout the universe... more to the point, even if you remove magic from the world, we humans have shown that we don't need magic to shatter a peace, so it might bring less destruction (until technology advances), but it won't bring peace necessarily.- 8 replies

Secret Societies and the Radiants
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Fallen Rope's topic in Stormlight Archive
I would say: Skybreakers - Skybreakers as I'm convinced that those are are part of the group calling themselves Skybreakers are not actually bonded KR Skybreakers. -
Alethi Codes of War (The actual illustration)
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
I must have been absent from the boards during that portion of discussions I guess. It just seems weird that the only way that Windrunners (at least right now) know how to use Adhesion is to stick things together. I guess it just feels weak compared to many of the other capabilities of other surges is all... -
When did Venli and the scholars try out Stormform?
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Rybal's topic in Stormlight Archive
On their will to change back from stormform... I'm not sure that it would be necessary if they were/are already inclined to that direction on the moral compass... Odium could have told the Storm spren to let them go at the next Highstorm after first taking that form sot hat they could persuade all the others to take Stormform and summon the Everstorm. -
Alethi Codes of War (The actual illustration)
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
Could be! I thought the odd trail of the sword indicated a Reverse lashing, so still either Windrunner or Skybreaker. Does it seem odd to anyone else, that the Gravity surge equals 2 of the 3 lashings, while Adhesion is only the basic lashing? -

Exactly my question initially! THAT is the picture that causes me to double take when I look at these war codes! -
Alethi Codes of War (The actual illustration)
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
My point has nothing to do with the weight of the swords or the force with which they are swung. If your hand gets hit by a shardblade at just the wrong angle, it is grey and "burned out"... even if they are "play swinging". You might be able, mythbusters research not withstanding, to stop a regular sword at a slight wrong angle and get your hand sliced or mangled, but recoverable and still manage to stop the blade. if you don't perfectly catch a shardblade on the other hand, it is going to cut right through your hand, severing your soul's connection to it and pass into your body, probably killing you. -
There are multiple people who comment on his madness in WoR though...? I'm "withholding" right now. I liked him in WoK as he was conflicted, but once he blamed the king for having a banquet and having it full of people that Szeth would then have to kill, he totally lost me in terms of interest. I also am bummed that he revived at the end, I would much more have preferred Stones Unhallowed (or whatever it ends up being called) to be the book with the dead character flashbacks at this point (mainly because I like all the other characters more right now).

Alethi Codes of War (The actual illustration)
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
i don't think anyone said that the Last Clap is magical necessarily, but the only people we've seen do it are either Knights Radiant or Proto-radiants. Also Samurai swords aren't formed of cognitive entities that sever the soul's connection when they hit something. I'd say it's much more difficult to do it on a Shardblade than a regular sword... -
It's possible... I'm still banking on the Nightwatcher being a Spren on the order of the Stormfather and Cusciech personally. Not sure if you meant to be vague on the "SPOILER" thing but it just says "Spoiler", not actual tags.

Upvote simply for the concept of Rosharan fireflies with gemhearts! A curious statement by child-Syl indeed, I wonder if it will portend anything larger for the story.

Alethi Codes of War (The actual illustration)
Green Hoodie Mistborn replied to Oudeis's topic in Stormlight Archive
The top right picture is the most interesting to me... The bottom two seem like normal sparing/war art and as others have said are reminiscent of Medieval Europe art. The Last Clap seems to be a known quantity to the Alethi elite anyway (since a worldhopper only arrived in the last 15 years or so knows about it enough to describe it to Kaladin), so it's not unknown. To me the interesting part related to it is that thus far we have only seen Knights Radiants (at some stage of development) perform the maneuver. But the top right... in this world, that has to be a depiction of a Windrunner. My logic here, the obvious: he is floating in mid-air. Therefore he's using a basic lashing to balance himself up and down to hang like Kaladin does at different points. It also looks like based on the slightly surprise?/Confused? look on the swordsman's face, that the sword is being pulled independent of him, which would require a "remote" reverse lashing of some sort. I suppose both of those are based on the Gravity surge and could be either Windrunner or Skybreaker, but it just seems more like a Windrunner thiing, to "mess" around with someone defensively during a sparing combat rather than attack all out like I think a Skybreaker would be inclined to do. -
I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Hav, and it should be a great scene when they finally meet up again (who knows, could be back in Alethkar since Kaladin does live in Amaram's fief and Amaram just fled the Shattered Plains), but I have doubts that he'll end up being KR material, even if he is the best of Amaram's army (now that Kaladin is gone).

Time will tell I suppose, but I can't help but think that Peter is just trolling us with that one and that Hoid is still the other lightweaver.
-
Per this WoB, Hoid has thus far only moved forward in time. That does leave open the possibility of traveling to the past, but to me it implies that if he could do it, he would have done it because he is trying to fix something through his adventures. Also of interest to me, now that I think about it. That means that the events of SA (Final Desolation), correspond with a group on Scadrial trying to build a Mistborn through Hemalurgy... connections, connections... I wonder.

Welcome to the boards! As Moogle said in your other topic, here, he is thought to probably be a Herald, possibly Jezrien.
-
So there is this thread: "I think Elhokar is a radiant" wherein much of this has been discussed if you would like to chime in over there. Kaladin has met both Shallan and Hoid/Wit, both of whom are Lightweavers, so this WoB implies nothing about Elhokar's Radiant potential or standing.

They are both listed like that in the Alloy of Law supplement, so not sure if that is a typo on their part (probably) for the Steel/Aluminum twinborn... Copper/Bronze makes sense for Shroud... copper cloud that you can keep up for a long time by tapping stored wakefulness of your bronzemind. Pushing metal and storing identity don't seem to lead to a name like Shroud, nor does it seem to be a useful combination of powers. True you have two powers, but they don't synergize well like some of the other Twinborns.
-
Of all of them, it probably makes the least sense to use Smokestone as a "light" source since it is going to be a grey/black in color and the light given off is based on the gem color. So it could just be a practical thing... only 9 of them give of light that you can actually use?
-
I've been meaning to post this for a while, and I don't think it violates anything to post. If it does, just let me know and I'll remove and PM to people on request. Attached is the full list from the MAG of Twinborn names and "reputations" Enjoy! And note, this is a "sample" so they don't give you all 256 possible combinations, but its a great start Twinborn.pdf

Interesting questions! Great catch on the description of the doors btw, upvote for you! Maybe the Palanaeum was a sort of emergency shelter designed by the Heralds/Honor kind of like TLR's "caches" around Scadrial. Now it has been re-purposed into a library. It takes Shallan a half hour of walking down the corridor into a mountain to reach the Palanaeum in the first place. No evidence, but my guess is the chamber and doors are pre-Recreance and the library is post-Recreance but pre-Hierocracy.
