"We can take the water back, then," Callie raised her eyebrows and shrugged, "Suit yourself."

"Thirsty?" Callie mocked.

"I could help with that," Callie said, smiling almost manically, with an evil glint in her eye. She twirled her dagger between her fingers.

"Tributes are just inherently boring. They all spend too much time focusing on how they're going to kill everyone else instead of actually killing everyone else, or, that is, dying."

You see only trees around you. (Wait, where are you again?) Although, there is one particularly thick cluster of trees to your right.

"Oh, don't worry. I've been having quite a lot of fun," She smiled, "He's hopeless."

"Almost," Callie emphasized, laughing quietly behind her teeth, "Might be the trauma kicking in."

"I'm afraid you must have the wrong name," Callie sighed and shrugged, looking back into Elsie's prison cell.

"Hm?" Callie said innocently, raising her. eyebrows, "Cassian, did you say?" She turned to Siylna and smiled. "I'm sorry, I think you have the wrong name. There's no Cassian here," Callie grinned with evil. She lowered her voice with glee. "Only a Victor."

Callie let out a cold, chilling laugh, "Are you trying... To intimidate me?" She stepped back from the prison and slowly began walking back and forth in front of the bars again, clearly quite pleased with herself.

"Quite," Callie straightened back to her original posture, "Though I don't assume you're in any position to be asking questions, now, are you?" She smiled.

Callie laughed, "Well, I suppose we'll see."

"But you can't, can you?" She replied, leaning in and making a pouting face to mock Saffron's current predicament.

Callie tilted her head to the side with an innocent smile. "I know."

Yes! Have you killed someone yet?

"They've been quite unamusing," Callie responded. @Edema Rue

Callie sighed and sat down on one of the cold stone steps in the dungeon. She clicked her tongue disappointedly. "It really is a shame how quickly people forget about their surroundings. One blink and soon enough, it's all gone. Well," She stood up slowly, "I suppose I needn't worry about that. I'll be here, that is. One thing that never will change," Callie laughed bitterly and walked up towards the prison cells where Elsie and Saffron were being held. @Aeoryi @Experience

"We all come from rising ashes. We all return, one day. Once our lifeline spins out of thread. Or... someone cuts it short," Callie laughed a little as she pulled out a knife, "Until someone slices through our lifeline so easily. It's numbing, I hear."

"That's the other thing about a lifetime," Callie mused, "It only happens once. When it's over, that's all for the mortal realm. There's no testing fate. No pushing the limits. No congratulations or grand finalé. Nothing luxurious once you're in the face of death. I've been there before. Death's face is... beautiful. Beautiful but cruel. The world is much less merciful." Callie sighed. "Perhaps it’s time to stop trusting others." She slowly nodded to herself. "Perhaps it’s time to stop trusting yourself."
