    Coming back to this *huugs* Hey. Listen. You have been through a lot in your life. You have every right to feel sad and angry and unwell. You have every right to struggle. You have every right to be who you are, and not who the others want you to be. You have every right to want to come back to better times. And while no one can turn back the clock, you can take steps to get better and have a better future. In fact, I know you've already started that. Not being able to open up to people around you, or even to be who you feel is the real you, really sucks. It sucks so so much. This said, you should probably try to sort that whole thing with your friends out; because if they are friends with a mask that hurts you the more you put it, and not with you, then it will hurt you even more long-term. I don't really know what would be the best way to do that (people who have irl friends please help) but it needs to be done. And I'm glad you stayed. Whatever the reason, I am very glad you stayed with us. There is never a wrong reason to not pull the trigger. I wish I could go to you, hold you tight and listen to you brain barfing for as long as you need to. But I can't. All I can give you are some words and virtual hugs. Please never forget: we love you as you are, with all the bruises and scars and wounds and flaws. For those are part of what makes you you, and you are awesome and fun and just someone really cool. And I know I wouldnt trade you for anyone else. *huuuuuuuuuuugs* *hugs* That's really horrible I dont really know what to say I hope that she is happier now, wherever she is *hugs* I can imagine how hard it is If it can reassure you, I would trust you to do good *hugs* Dang that's a tough situation to be in I don't know what to say I hope you can find something that works well for everyone involved *hugs to everyone else who needs it, and the others too*

I hope you can get through those tough times. Just focus on what needs to be done now, what can wait can wait. You can come back once you're out of this and rested *more squeezes*

    PSA: Book festivals are really cool

    I now owned 7 more signed books than yesterday, both new acquisitions and old companions

    I heard authors chat about writing, life, publishing, what are the best writing softwares, how do you write about nature in the middle of a climate apocalypse, and more

    I met again old and newer friends, whom I rarely see these days

    I'm coming back there tomorrow for a writing workshop organized by a published writer

     

    These are really the kind of days that make life truly worth living

    Those are really cool songs indeed! And yeah, I have to agree that the last song on almost each album is one of the best. Pushing Me Away, Numb, A Line in the Sand, Powerless, Good Things Go, Little Things Give You Away, even The Messenger (though that one is a bit overshadowed by the rest of the album), all incredible songs. Welcome! Those are really cool albums indeed!

    Nah, we use it in a pretty similar way. In fact, that's what one means with ghettoization - the area is getting poorer, with crime on the rise, infrastructure failing, etc... Yup, that's also a possible meaning of that word.

    uh? i guess your teacher and i have been taught very different definitions of the word "ghetto" because on my side of the ocean, when an area starts to fall apart, we say it is in a process of "ghettoisation"
