It's always fun to be a tourist in your own city when family comes to visit 

My cousins are in town this week and we've been seeing the sights and walking the walks and touring the tours. It's been a long time since I've done this kind of thing, but honestly, it's been a lot of fun. My experience seeing the Met and Ellis Island and stuff is so different now than it was as a kid. Like, who knew museums were this fascinating??

One thing that was super cool for me was finding some ancestors in the Ellis Island research center and all the details from when they made it to the US. It's just awesome that you can do things like that.

Also space, planetariums, and observatories are like the coolest things in this universe—change my mind
