Shining Silhouette

Hey everyone! Decided it was time for an update cause a couple of cool (well and not so cool) things happened recently and I wanted to share!

1. I saw the LA Phil and Anne Akino Meyers at Carnegie Hall! They played a couple of original pieces and Copland's Third Symphony. DUDAMEL WAS SO COOL AHHH 
2. I got into my first car accident. I was driving to seminary and going down a hill when a cup rolled down by my pedals! I reached down to grab it cause I've heard stories of how dangerous that is and I looked up to find that I had gone up against the stone wall at the side of the road. Not fun 
3. My seminary class then made fun of me and my teacher asked us to come up with metaphorical relationships to the event. And then I used that discussion for my church talk the following Sunday
4. The senior class had an awesome haunted house at the high school and got to decorate different classrooms! I dressed up as a scary clown and had my makeup artist friends do my makeup and it was tons of fun. The whole night I was singing a scary happy birthday song to everyone who passed. And then my voice was hoarse for the weekend. But who knew terrifying people would be so fun. 
5. My AP Lit class went on a field trip to see the Kite Runner on Broadway before it closed and it was absolutely fantastic! We got a bunch of signed Playbills
6. I had a lot of college apps due today, and got a few turned in, but fortunately (depending on who you ask :P.) BYU's application page went down and so I get an extension on my seven essays there so that's pretty great news
